  1. I'd love to... but Charlotte is 2 hours + away from me
  2. Does anyone still look at this? I'm in Cameron, halfway between Sanford and Fayetville. Also only an hour from Durham/Raleigh.
  3. RedRoses, I'd thought about starting my own group, but had no ideas of how to get the word out. Thanks so much for the suggestions!
  4. I'm in Cameron, North Carolina. Equal distance between Fayettville and Sanford. I'd love to create a group where we meet for coffee once a week and crochet together. Maybe after the group has been meeting a while we could meet at someone's house.
  5. Oh I didn't see that, thanks I'll definitely check it out! I'd love any suggestions ya'll have! I'd really love to find people in my area
  6. I'd love to see a board where you can set up crochet groups. My local area has no crochet groups, and I've done a lot of looking. It would be awesome to have a forum where people can connect and make plans to meet at a coffee shop or something and crochet with company! It's always more fun with a cup of coffee and a friend.
  7. I'm looking for a twin size afghan pattern that does not require sewing pieces together. So nothing Granny square, it always looks weird when I sew squares together... Slightly larger then twin is fine.

  9. Hello all! My name is Christine, I live in North Carolina and love my crochet hooks. I've only been crocheting for 2 months and am totally obsessed. I make dresses I sell on etsy and am making some blankets for a friend of my father.(Basically trying to sell enough to keep me in yarn! lol) Right now I'm working on an original pattern for my daughter. It'll be a Red cape with hood and arm holes, inspired by the Little Red Riding hood cape from 2014's Into the woods. I love that my daughter's willing to be my guinea pig. She's 4. My son(who's three) is much less interested in wearing my creations. He likes watching me work though, hopefully one day he'll let me teach him.
