  1. Thank you for the reply i've been trying to work it out for days but i just cant get my head around it. I have paint on my computer and i understand how to make the image smaller and bigger. but when i put it onto stitch fiddle how do i make it so the image is just in 34 x 42 squares? or is their a better place to make the chart.
  2. Hi, I'm having a go at designing my own intarsia pattern but i'm struggling with how to put the pattern onto paper. Its going to be 8 x 10 inches. so i've worked out i would need 34 x 42 stitches. But i don't know how to make the chart that size. I've been trying to use stitch fiddle but if i choose the size i want the image goes all wrong. Can anyone give me any help? Thank you. Gemma.

    Chain Length.

Hi, I am crocheting a granny rectangle that will be 140cm x 40cm when finished. Am i right in thinking that my starting chain needs to be 100cm long? Thank you.
  4. Ive inserted the hook under both strands in the top of the stitch and it now looks alot better thank you for the help.

  6. I am quite new to crochet and usually work in the round. But when i do work in rows i get lines across my work but there isn't in the pictures i'm following. Am i working into the wrong part of the loop? I've attached some pictures to try and explain better. Thank You.
  7. Thank-you, i will try that on the next square.

    Joining rounds.

Hi, I am making a bag to keep my wool in. Im crocheting 16 squares then joining them together. The pattern im using for the individual squares is in the round But when i slip stitch and join a new colour on the next round it makes a bump on the edge so the square isnt flat on one edge. Can anyone help me with what im doing wrong. Thank You. Ive attached some pictures of the squares.
