A Few Things About Me

  1. thank you so much! All these items are made with cotton yarn.
  2. The pattern said the large one is a dishcloth but I think its too pretty to stick in mucky water! So I have been telling people they can be used as pot holders or placemats, or even doillies.
  3. Ever start a project and begin following a pattern then somehow somewhere you fall off the beaten path and mess up, but before getting mad you look at your creation and see that you have made a wonderful item? Just did that with a leg warmer pattern.
  4. I used this pattern on a baby blanket and decided it would work great as placemats. Love them!
  5. I'm Janet! I have been crocheting for about 2 years. I taught myself. I am a very crafty person. I guess that's why being a baker for a living does not seem like work for me. I used to make candles years ago and made quite a bit of money doing so but moved to eastern Washington where my candles didn't do so well. I can't just sit and watch TV. Sometimes I will play my Sims 4 games but during the fall and winter months I seem to crochet a lot more. I have sold many baby blankets. Just last night I made a candy corn beanie for a friend. LOL. I want to get better. I am looking for some holiday decor to decorate now. Going to try and tackle snowman today. Nice to meet you all, I look forward to chatting with you!
  6. Looking for a bathroom set pattern so I can crochet a gift for a friend. Spefically lacey decorated and just need the toilet seat cover and bowl cover. This is a special request from a friend for a christmas gift. I can't find much on youtube or etsy.
  7. I'm Sparky! AKA Janet... I have been crocheting for over a year now and have just started to dabble in to selling my items on ebay and etsy! I look forward to chatting with you all!
