  7. Hi there and welcome to the forum. I'm Nikki, 32, Wife and Mother from the UK. Been crocheting since 2014, and recently in 2018 have taught myself to cast on and do the knit stitch when it comes to knitting! But like you, Crochet is faster than Knitting!

  21. So after a long 15 months of a lot of tears and cursing, I have finally completed 112 squares, all with different stitches and techniques and sticking each one with a border on and sewn up together and stuck a border on. It's finally complete! This is bigger in length of my double bed, which I'm sure you can see in the photos! I'm super proud of myself for not quitting on this, don't get me wrong there has been a few times, where I've given up, but I would put it down for a day or and two then go back to it!
  22. After my heart blanket, the same friend had asked me to make her friend's cat a blanket for Christmas. As she and her friend always bought stuff for each other's pets for Christmas! It measured 30" by 30" She was over the moon with it! I thought I would share it here!
  23. Hi, I'm unsure of which one you are referring too, however how about this one? https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=5488&cid=17
  24. A friend at my local craft club, asked me to make a crochet blanket for her great niece, big enough for her cot! I followed the tutorial for Bella Coco’s Granny Heart tutorial for the heart squares and created some plain squares too! Then crocheted it together and stuck a granny stripe border on it.

    Cat Blanket

I have a cat and I had some 25g balls of yarn, that I couldn’t use for bigger projects, so I chose all the colours, that a cat can see! Which when doing some research, found out was Green, Red, Blue and Yellow! The cat very much loves sleeping on it!
