  • Crocheting since...
    Since I was 13.
  1. Adopted a beautiful 8 week old American bulldog/pit mix, and I made her a little handkerchief.
  2. Made my first fingerless glove. Not making a second one though since I wear bracelets on my left hand. It is a bit big, but comfy
  3. I will make something out of it eventually, lol. I need to watch more video's
  4. YAY. It took a lot of trial and error to figure it out
  5. A teaching assistant in my Special ed class in middle school.
  6. Did I finally figure out the granny square? Or did I mess up somehow? I hope I made it correctly. I tried my best.
  7. I didn't know that, I will unravel it and start it again.
  8. I did a few stitches on it that was double crochet. I pulled it all out and started the boarder again. I honestly have no idea where I am going with it, lol. I finished the afghan in my picture with double crochet.
  9. I tried making it a granny square, messed up, so I decided to do it rectangular, lol. I switched to a white, pink, purple, green verigated yarn. I plan on doing 4 or 5 rows. I really wanted to make a traditional granny square, but I couldn't get the hang of it. Maybe I can keep practicing and eventually it will be ok.
  10. I found an old part of a blanket I stopped crocheting, so I unwound it and decided to do the granny square blanket mixed in with the yarn I used to make my completed afghan. So far it it is light purple and pink.
  11. I decided to crochet an afghan using just one granny square and bordering it with different colors. Is this stupid? Or can it be done? I am just double crocheting and nothing fancy
  12. It does feel awesome. I made rugs, tablecloths for small tables, a few washcloths, and a few little odds and ends with no purpose. This is the first time ever that I made something that I could really use.
