  1. Thank you all. I have made many baby blankets but only 2 throw blankets so I felt so proud at how easy and quick this blanket was made because of its granny holes. :]
  2. The book I used as reference for this pattern was "Crochet Stitch Dictionary" by Sarah Hazell. I think even if you aren't a beginner its a great book to have especially when you are bored and want to try a new stitch. I also use YouTube and have been thinking about making my own tutorials as I do have my own blog going now.
  3. I just finished this blanket a few days ago and I have been so over the moon about it. Its the second throw blanket I've ever finished. =]
  4. I live in New England where its already chilly here lol! I wish I lived someplace warmer
  5. Yes that is definitely me :] I will add you!
  6. I miss living in NH so much. I used to live there but moved up here in the woods a few years back lol.
  7. http://www.meladorascreations.com/meladoras-butterfly-stitch-free-crochet-pattern/ I dont know if there is another name for it but its super pretty
  8. Both crocheted in butterfly stitch which I think is inspired by Meldora's Creations The black one was made with black and gold yarn and has tassles and the SIlver and Blue metallic one was made with a headband to match :] I really like the butterfly stitch cuz its lacy but still warm and it was perfect to make for the fall season.
  9. I used listia. I got a whole bunch of yarn from there. It was pretty cool [:
  10. Theres a whole bunch of knitters in Maine...Are there any crocheters?
  11. I used the basic hood concept from this video : and then used my own method of making the scarf, pocket, and ears.
