  1. I'm trying to decide between Etsy & Ravelry. I know Etsy has a large following, but I just don't know if their fees are worth it. Also, I've been told you can sell handmade items -- not just patterns -- on there. However, I have not been able to find info on fees or a link to set up a shop. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Thank you so much for going out of your way to find similar patterns!!! That is so nice of you! I will definitely check these out and will be most happy to make something similar!! Thanks!
  3. Yes, it's the one on the cover. I looked on Ralvery & it says the publication is out of print. Guess I'll have to check out LA next.
  4. Oh well Phooey. I appreciate everyone's advice. I will just have to wait until I can afford to purchase the pattern. I recently lost my job, so I cannot afford one thing extra at the moment. However, I will continue to use my yarn stockpile and the great free patterns I have found to make things. Hopefully, I will be able to sell them to make some cash.
  5. I just figured out the name of the pattern!!! It's called "Romancing the Rose".... it was a pattern originally put out by Leisure Arts, designed by Terry Kimbrough.
  6. Hi! Thanks for the warm welcome!! I love crocheting afghans, baby blankets, snowflakes & roses. I recently tried my hand at a toddler hat. It turned out pretty well for my first attempt.
  7. Probably about 6 years ago, I saw pattern in a craft magazine for a gorgeous Victorian Rosebud afghan. It was a creamy white afghan with mauve rosebuds meandering through the stitching. Although I saved the article, I have now misplaced it & I've finally gotten up the nerve to try it. I would love to find this pattern again -- in the freebie bin if possible Thanks in advance for any help on this!
  8. Hi!! Homefolks & fellow crocheters!! What could be better??

Gorgeous! I love all the "fluffy" flowers!!
  10. I just found the link to this wonderful community from a fellow crocheter on a coupon forum. I just joined, but I can already tell I'm going to love this place! My name is Becky -- and while I'm new to Crochetville, I'm not new to crocheting. My Mama & aunt taught me to crochet when I was about 13 years old. I put it aside for years & about 3 - 4 years ago, I picked it up again. Now I can never understand why I stopped crocheting!! I love it & it helps with stress levels! Looking forward to meeting all the wonderful folks here in Crochetville...so thankful to be a citizen of Crochetville -- thanks for creating this place! GOD BLESS! Becky
