A Few Things About Me

  1. Very true. Thanks for all the help everyone!!
  2. I'm assuming the 31 sc are in the big hole. The ring. I thought I knew how to read most patterns, but I'm beginning to think I don't
  3. Here are the first few steps of pattern. Note: beginning cluster (beg cl): ch 3, (yoh, stich in same place, pull yarn through leaving 3 loops on hook) repeat one more time in next st, 5 loops on hook, yarn over hook, pull yarn through all 5 loops to secure the loops. Ch 8, sl st to form a ring. Ch 1 (count as 1 sc). Row 1: 31 sc into ring, join with sl st. 32 sc on ring. Row 2: beg cl, * (ch 5, cl), * repeat 6 times, join with sl st to the st on top of beg cl. Total 8 clusters.
  4. Oooo no. Not sure why. I clicked on the link and it took me to the pattern. Hmmm...
  5. Hey! I can't figure out this pattern. It seems simple enough, but when working the beginning cluster I get more than 8 clusters. Can anyone tell me how it's possible to only get 8 clusters when the pattern calls for 32 single crochets n the round, and the clusters are worked in two stitches?? I'm so confused. http://library.ravelry.com/Iinwibisono/258071/Lacy_Green_GS.pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAJNNSUP6J3RN4WZYQ&Expires=1374901479&Signature=okPABxGUTjGCNG3S043y875G02k%3D
  6. Wow! Thank you everyone for all your help. I think I get it lol. Having the abbreviations that I am use to seeing was the key. Time will tell though. I plan on buying the material this weekend. Ill keep everyone posted.
  7. Thanks for Sharing. I'm going to try this soon.

    Help help help!

Hi everyone. I am new to this site, and fairly new to crochet. I found this bag pattern that I am absolutely in love with, but I have no clue where to even start. Patterns I have followed in the past look nothing like this one. Please help!! http://gosyo.co.jp/english/pattern/eHTML/ePDF/1006/3w/Ribbon_Accent_Bag.pdf
