  1. I am currently making this afghan and find the pattern really easy to follow, however I seem to have some concerns and wondered if anyone has had the same experiences or am I doing something wrong and should start over. 1. The FPDC/BPDC seem to create a curve in the row (making the row uneven) and wondered if this will straighten out in the end. 2. Starting at row 18 the sides of the afghan seem to pull in although the number of stitches in the row remain the same. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Liz
  2. Just found out about knooking and was able to get books and hooks from Annie's Attic.
  3. Good morning Nicole, I've recently joined this website, so glad that I did, found the picture of your afghan and must say that it is absolutely gorgeous. I am currently working on this pattern, I'm at the flower panel but keep looking at the 1st tree panel as the rows seem uneven to me. Did you find that the FPDC/BPDC created curves in the rows? I need to know if I am doing something wrong and may have to start over. Thanks, Liz
  4. Hello everyone, Thanks for the warm 'welcome' messages.
  5. Hi Billynomates, It is 'Filet' crochet, done with thread. Check it out, you'll love it.
  6. Hello Pye, I don't live in Texas but my sister does. She lives in Houston and that is her nickname for me, don't know why but I love it.
  7. Just became a member of this fabulous site, I've been crocheting for at least 35 years and love filet crochet. I just finished my fourth tablecloth and I am currently working on the Tree of Life afghan.
