  6. Looking for 1 or 2 testers. This hat is made using worsted weight yarn such as Red Heart Comfort and a 5.5 mm (I-9) hook. It is for Toddler size only. I would like feedback and a picture by Friday the 18th. TIA!
  7. My newly released elf hat pattern is on sale until tomorrow evening for just $2.99 (reg. price $4.99). This would be really cute for a Christmas family photo --- especially if you also get the Santa hat that I'm releasing later today. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/elf-hat---newborn-to-adult http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/accessory/elf-hat---newborn-to-adult/70313

  9. Thank you for the advice. I ended up adding a strap with buttons just above the visor and I'm happy with the result. I will definitely be publishing it once tested. Cheers!
  10. Thanks! I appreciate that as it seems to be the general consensus. I'm going to go with it the way it is. And I love your tagline. I can't type sticth either.
  11. Hi everyone. I've been crocheting for a while but have only been designing patterns for about 6 months. I try to come up with designs that are unique and different but I've come up against a dilemma with my latest design. I designed a cap several months ago using a particular stitch, but put it aside because I was having problems with the sizing. I've been working on it again for the past week and just got the pattern all written up and was getting ready to send it to my testers when by chance I came across a pattern that was just released that is almost the exact same as mine. Now I'm concerned that someone may think I've copied her design, when in fact I designed the hat months ago. There are some obvious differences between the two hats, but they both use the same stitch and they both have a visor. Should I try to change mine? Release it anyways? Would love to hear everyone else's thoughts. TIA! Janaya
