  1. Thanks to magiccrochetfan, yes - these patterns are available on Ravelry. Some are free. https://www.ravelry.com/designers/zoe-deterding
  2. He has come out quite large which isn't too surprising as I used a much bigger hook than suggested in the pattern. I'm currently on #2 in shades of blue and yellow. I talk about this and other crochet stuff in my YouTube videos (24CaratCrochet there). I help out at a computer "drop-in" centre for older people and one of the ladies wanted me to take a picture to show her daughter who lives in the States and wanted to make sure the size of him was obvious in the picture. Second picture below shows her holding him.
  3. On Pinterest I'm "24 Carat Crochet". My actual name is Zoe b.t.w.
  4. Hi Kathryn. I grew up on Hertfordshire and now live in Surrey. Welcome to Crochetville!
  5. Hi, I'm in England too! Welcome. Who have you found on YouTube for tutorials? I'm sure you know about Clare (Bobwilson123) already, being from "down under" and if Olivia (Girlybunches) is English who I know (I've met).
  6. I've made three large afghans over the last few years. For this one, I've made a video detailing the whole process from receiving the package of yarn, the process of deciding on a design and details of how much yarn I used. Here's the video: https://youtu.be/LwCotF3gtOc
  7. I've had a YouTube channel for a few years and post videos every week. Some videos are tutorials on some of my free patterns. Most of the Friday videos are in a "show and tell" style and explain about the yarn and patterns used. I talk about equipment and techniques and reviews on any new relevant acquisitions. These are aimed at being chatty and informative for all levels of crocheter. I'm in the UK and travel to the States at least once a year and take my viewers with me on my travels. 12. Link to pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/chunky-ribbed-scoodie-2nd-edition I have a series of scoodies, they all have a rounded head with no points or corners. I love the way this one has come out. Written in US terminology, abbreviated style.
