  1. Thanks for all the complements! CindyMI - I used Red Heart Super Saver Light Green to replace the Light Mint. I had a couple of squares I had completed with the Light Mint and honestly couldn't tell the Light Mint apart from the Light Green. Also, if you downloaded the pattern from Annie's Attic's website there is an error in it (unless they've corrected it since) that isn't in the original pattern in the 50 Sensational Afghans & Throws book. Let me know if you need the correction and I can IM you.
  2. Thanks ladies! spiritwalker -- the pattern is from 50 Sensational Afghans & Throws or you can get a PDF download of just this pattern from Annie's Attic too.
  3. It took 12 skeins of Red Heart yarn, 15 days, and approx 100 hours of crocheting! Here is the YouTube Video of it being made Thanks for looking!
  4. I went to check out Craft's Direct last weekend, and oh my goodness!! I nearly fainted when I saw the giant WALL OF YARN!!! And not only did they have a huge selection of yarn available, every bin was full!! No problems with getting all the yarn you need in a certain dye lot here!! :heart I'm in love!! :heart Thanks for the post tmpinsnty!!!
  5. Here are the corrections as far as I can tell -- just in case someone else needs them in the future Row 1 should read: Ch 2 hdc in the first 11 hdc (not dc in the first 11 hdc) Row 3 should read: Ch 2, hdc in the first 11 sts, ch 2, sl st in next ch-3 space, ch 3, sl st in next ch-3 sp, ch 2, hdc in next 15 hdc, ch 2, sl st in next ch-3 space, ch 3, sl st in next ch-3 space, ch 2, hdc in last 11 hdc, turn.
  6. Great post Autumn -- I guess you're right And yes, I have crocheted stuff for my dogs, so I guess I really can't say anything......
  7. I was browsing craigslist this morning for crochet related goods, and here is an ad I came across: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/atq/1328293009.html Can you believe this person is selling a bedspread that their Grandma crocheted 70 years ago?! Don't they realize the time and effort she must have put into it?? How very, very, very sad.......
  8. Yes, it does use the UK terms -- just use a standard treble stitch when the pattern calls for a double treble
  9. Awesome!!!! :cheer:clap:cheer:clap:cheer
  10. that is beautiful!! I'm sure she'll really love it
  11. Excellent work, everything is absolutely beautiful!!! Fairs are so much fun
  12. Wow, I love the colors!! What a beautiful afghan -- it's sure to keep you snug and warm!!
