  1. Thanks again to all who replied after my original thanks. LOL. I had carpal tunnel before I got pregnant and it was so bad during that I only got to make ONE outfit. I thought it would get better after giving birth, but it has not. So I went to my doctor today and found this out: I have tendonitis in my left hand which is why my thumb and the bone right underneath that hurts so badly. Tina, you were right in suggesting that. I also have a thumb sprain (not sure how I got it though). He did x-rays and there is a smail sprain there. As for my right hand it is 100% CT and he suggested surgery. I am going to try the accupuncture, yoga, and everything non surgical first. Thanks again. Kristina
  2. thanks everyone. I have had horrible pain since getting pregnant. My doctor gave me braces and gloves...but it only helps sometimes. I am having accupuncture on Wed. Kristina
  3. What is the best way to deal with carpal tunnel and crocheting? Are there special hooks or something? Kristina
  4. I have listed yarn some chenille for sale on Ebay (did not realize there was a place here to sell it). I ordered it 2 years ago, but my carpel tunnel is making it very hard to crochet or knit. Got to Ebay and search for kandyk3. Kristina
  5. Ok, niether of these patterns work for what I want. They look like granny squares still. If you go to http://pumamouse.com/crochetbasicgrannys.html, I want an entire afghan that looks like the darker Brown in the second picture. Any ideas how to do this?
  6. Thank you both so much. I knew it was easy, but I couldn't figure it out. Thanks! Thanks!
  7. OK, I want to make an afghan that looks like one big square. I don't want a granny square per se, but I woul dlove to be able to crochet in a round. Does this make sense? If so, can someone tell me how the heck to do this. Thanks, Kristina

  10. Ok, thanks Lisa and bren. I figures they were counting that, but when I do it I still only get 18. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. MMM, peculiar. Kristina
  11. I am following a pattern and I have taken it out like four times because the total number of stitches does not add up. I think the pattern is flawed, but I don't know. Could someone work it up and let me know how many stitches they get? Chain 27 DC in fourth ch from hook and in next 5 chs, ch 2, skip next 2 chs, sc in next chain, ch 1, skip next 2 chs, (dc, ch 1) 3 times in next ch, skip next 2 chs, sc in next ch, ch 2, skip next 2 chs, dc in last 7 chs: 19 sts and 6 sps It says you should have 19 stitches, but I only count 18. Thanks in advance for your help. Kristina
  12. I would like to join. Where is the pattern for this upcoming week? Kristina
  13. I absolutely love this purse. There is a hat pattern that would go great with it. I will post it when I find it. Kristina
  14. I LOVE THIS BLANKET. I am looking for things to make since I am expecting and this is definitely at the top of my list. It's Beautiful. Good Job. Kristina
