Just made this up a couple days ago. It inspired me to try and make a crocheted wallet, that I am working on now. I have the body done, just working on the inside pockets, which are pretty tricky. If anyone has any tips to share they would be greatly appreciated!

Just finished this bag today. Honestly I had no idea how I was going to do the lining because of the shape of the bag, but I'm satisfied with how it turned out. Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it!

Since I haven't been here in a while, I wanted to share some things that I have been working on. Here is a baby blanket, hat and booties that I made for my surrobaby. He was supposed to be a girl so I made all girl things! His mother took them anyway. =) This is also a dress I made for surrobaby. I made this headband for a friends little girl.

Thank you all for your responses! I think I have it figured out.

Thank you for your response. I understand what the stitch count is. I'm confused about the part that says "Work 1 sc in every sc - AT THE SAME TIME inc -" In the explanation it says increase 1 st by working 2 sc in the same stitch. Is that where the 3-9 sc comes into play? How do I know how many sc to do for what size? Most patterns I have used have different sizes in brackets. This one is totally going over my head. LOL

Hi all, it has been a while since I've been here, and I am not sure if any of you even remember me, but I am stuck on this pattern and really need help! Normally if I just sit long enough I can figure it out, but I just can't get past this one. I hope I'm allowed to post this, since it is a free pattern. Here is the direct link, the picture is shown there. http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/us/pattern.php?id=5772〈=us

I made these slippers, and decided to make a pair for my daughter, but I want to make them a little different, where they look more like ballet slippers. The sides area lot lower, and I have increased my stitches to form the heel. The original pattern said to just pinch the two sides of the heel together and slip stitch them together, but I would like to make a more natural looking heel, thats rounded at the bottom instead of pointed. Any suggestions on how to do this? I hope I am making sense. TIA

So I tried attaching a photo but it's just not working for me right now, so I'll just post a link. I made this hat for my DD, but it ended up being to big for her, so I decided to keep it for myself and make her a smaller one. Thanks for looking =) http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m537/jujusurro/hat.jpg

I originally made this for my surro-daughter to be, but my DD saw it and she had to have it. She carried it everywhere with her yesterday telling strangers that her mommy made it and that I gave it to her. LOL

So after getting frustrated and struggling with the Elephant I was working on I decided to put that down and work on something else. I'm glad I did, because I just love this little monkey!

The pattern that I have is in a book. Don't know if I am allowed to post it?

Very good to know! Thanks!

Thank you very much! I noticed that when I ch 3 (to serve as the first sc) that it was quite larger than the rest of my stitches. Should I change it to ch 2 instead? Or even ch 1? Sorry if I sound dumb, lol.

Question - my pattern says to sc around - the "magic loop" says to dc around... would I still need to dc or should I sc like the pattern says?

A couple of you may know that I am working on a baby elephant right now. I am getting frustrated with it so I want to put it down for a little while and try to work on something else. I want to do a baby blanket to match, but I have one question: The elephant has polka dots on it, and I would like the blanket to as well. What would be the best way to do this? I am having a hard time finding a pattern that I like with polka dots and they are pretty random, so I was thinking of maybe doing them seperately and sewing them on? Is there a way to do it without the back of it looking bad? TIA!

Don't mean to step on anyone's toes, but I noticed that the title of the post in the link said iPod nano, so it probably wont work for an iPod touch. This is a great idea though!
