  1. Check out www.allfreecrochetafghanpatterns.com/Baby-Blanket...I found it there...
  2. I gotta admit that your snowman looks as though he can weather the cold now...Great job...Merry Christmas
  3. I can hardly wait ti make a bunch of these snowflakes..Think I'll connect then for a table runner...This is a project I can work on all year...Thank you for this great pattern...
  4. I love this pattern...only I do sc, hdc, dc, skip 2 repeat with hdc at end...It's my go to pattern...Also like Bernat 's Worsted Red Blanket pattern for a bit of variety...
  5. That is great...You're so inventive
  6. Wow...Saw a bunch of bags on Ravelry that I added to my library with the hopes of making some for Christmas presents...Too bad if folks don't like my handmade presents...With limited income and transportation they have to settle for yarn purchased online and free online patterns...One year everyone got potholders, another year soap with soap bags and washcloths...Last year it was blankets and throws...This year perhaps shopping bags...
  7. That is a sweet afghan...Any little girly girl would love it...
  8. It is beautiful...I think I have some yarn that would fit the bill...
  9. I want to join your facebook group...I'm Sandy Threadgill...Hence Estee (ST)...
  10. For those of you in the Tampa Bay area of Florida...Knit & Knibble on Dale Mabry in Tampa will be closing their doors for good on July 26th...Up until that date you can get fabulous savings with increasing discounts daily. I will be sad when this LYS closes...They have a wonderful selection of yarn, patterns and supplies for knitters and us hookers...I picked up a few Sidar pattern books and a crochet border book at a 25% savings yesterday...Unfortunately I won't be able to get any yarn until July 24/25...I just hope there is still some quality yarn left for me at that time.
  11. I just finished a pink layette for my expected great grand baby (if it's a girl)...Thought I'd make up a few of these for a change, until the spirit hits me to make a boy's layette...
  12. So many projects, so little time...
  13. Now I can make a few outfits for the doll I got a year ago....Thank you ever so much...
  14. I gotta admit the "V" stitch baby blanket is my old standby...It works up fast, is simple to remember and makes a nice light weight blanket...Works good with ombre yarns too...It can always be varied with the size of the hook, using 1/2 doubles or even triples...It just depends on how thick you want the blanket to be...Work up a 25-30 stitch swatch and see if you like it...
  15. No idea the site I saw it on, but it was a pic in the lower left corner, wherever it was...I know that's no help...It looked as though it was worked in double crochet...I have searched my 'history' and don't see it...Don't worry, I'll find/see it eventually; I hope...
  16. Magic---Thanks for the info but those are not the one...Hopefully it will pop up somewhere...
  17. I saw this pattern the other day...It was blue with 3/4 sleeves and scallop or shell edging on sleeves and bottom of jacket...I can't remember where I saw it...Guess I'm having an episode of CRS...
  18. Your Dora outfits are fabulous...makes me want to go get me a Dora doll and use up some scrap yarns that I've kept for no good reason...Now I have a reason !!!
  19. We can all breathe a sigh of relief...I gotta admit I was worried there for a while, kept getting that "site down for maintenance" message for so long that I thought it had gone byebye...Now I can relax...One of my fav free pattern sites is back up...www.bernat.com or www.yarninspirations.com...Yippee...
  20. Good Morning Ladies...Don't faint...I'm still alive and hooking...Just thought I'd pop in for a few...This weather here in Florida has been something else...Today it is supposed to get to 80 F...and to think that I actually had my heat on 2 days ago... I've been busy making an afghan for my GS, which has turned into a blanket for my youngest daughter....She saw it, fell in love with the color and said she wanted it as it matched her bedroom colors... I'm having to make it bigger and of course I don't have enough yarn...I had purchased the yarn from Craftsy so I contacted them to see if I could order more...Unfortunately they are sold out and don't expect any more....As luck would have it, I had received an email from WEBS telling of a current sale...My yarn wasn't listed, but I searched their site anyway...Lo and behold there it was !!!! Needless to say I ordered 8 more skeins....Praise the Lord..SO now I had to order yarn for GS afghan...I'm expecting both orders to arrive shortly... In the meantime beloved youngest daughter has decided that she doesn't like the sweater that I made and gifted her Christmas 2012....She doesn't like the way it fits...too large....Soooo I let her look at the current Crochet Today and she found one she likes, only thing is she want's it sc instead of dc....Oh Boy...here we goooo..I had her return the Christmas sweater so I could FROG it...What a chore...Frogging Simply Soft after it has been laundered a few times is not the easiest thing to do, but I'm attempting it... So that's bringing you up to date on happenings in my life....God Bless All of you...Prayers for those sick in body and heart....ST
