  1. Nope, only one week. Thanks for all the nice words girls. I really appreciate it.
  2. Made this one while visiting my youngest daughter last weekend. It's a pattern from Garnstudio, you can find it here:http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=95&d_id=38〈=en I made a few changes and crocheted it in a cotton-blend yarn; Svale from Dale of Norway. In a pale lilac color, not blue as it seems like in the picture. Quite pleased with how it turned out, and I guess it will look even better when I get it blocked.
  3. Well here it is; my "Ultra Beauty" from "Ultimate Doilies". Made this one in two colors. Pale green and cream. I'm a bit ashamed to say I haven't gotten around to block it yet. And none of you will notice the threads hanging here ande there.....will you??? :blush Have a nice day everybody!
  4. Hei fra Langhus, Norge.
  5. Hello Lori. Visited your gallery, and boy am I impressed by your work! The Svanhild doily is absolutely gorgeous. I haven't tried making spirals yet, but it sure looks awsome. Guess that means I have a legitim excuse to buy one more of PK's books.
  6. I have just finished this one from Garnstudio. I used "Svale", a cotton yarn from Dale of Norway and ajusted the pattern slightly. Turned out nice, and the pattern is very easy. Here's the link to the pattern: http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=95&d_id=38〈=en
  7. I've completed the new one ....but haven't blocked it yet. I'm visiting my daughter now and won't be home until tuesday....Guess I'll brag on Wednesday.

  9. Thank you all very much for all those nice words. It has inspired me to start crocheting another PK-doily. It's the "Ultra Beauty" from Ultimate Doilies. Quite tricky this one.....because it has braids. But I think I'm done with the most difficult part now. And yes; I will brag (post a pic) when it's completed.

  14. I have bought several books by Patricia Kristoffersen, and I just love her designs. Have completed a few of them too. Anyone else in here who enjoyes her crisp patterns? Here`s one of my finished doilies. It's named "Momentous Occation". It`s from the book "Ultimate Doilies"
  15. Any further progess in this tablecloth?? Btw: I liked the second-to-last-posted arrangement best. Tried to leave a comment in your blog, but wasn`t allowed to unless I registered...
  16. Thanx a lot for the nice words girls. I`ve been doing a lot of reading in here, and this seems like a good place to stay. No hush words, just helping and cheering people. (Please keep in mind that English is not my native language. I know I do some major mistakes in my writing)
  17. Hello everybody! I`m a norwegian woman who loves to knit and crochet. I occationly pick up an embroidery needle, but it doesn`t last long before I`m back with my yarn and hook again. I was taught how to crochet by my aunt at the age of six, but it wasn`t until I was well grown up that my hook got really busy. And now I`m totally addicted to knitting and crocheting. Not a day goes by without me working my needles and hooks. I`m a mother of 2 girls, stepmother to one girl, and grandmother of two beautiful 5 year old girls. Love from mormor
