  1. Hello All! For my next project I want to make a blanket that has a short 3 word phrase on it. Just that. It'll most likely be in black letters but I'm unsure about the "background" color I want to use. Ok, now that I have the background information done here comes where I ask for help I was wondering if anyone could help explain to me how to crochet letters and words as you go along on a blanket. The only information I have found on the internet is showing how to add letters after you're done with the blanket and that's not what I'm looking for. I just want to do it as I go. So, if anyone could help out with this, thank you so much and I appreciate you taking out time to help someone who is very crochet-challenged Thank you
  2. Lol, that's just strange. So, I don't really have to worry about it then?
  3. So I'm starting to crochet dishcloths and the instructions say: Ch 37 1st row: (RS). yadda yadda yadda. Does the RS stand for anything?
  4. Hellllo I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a pattern to make an afghan with a big anchor in the middle, or somewhere, on it. My best friend loves anchors and I want to make something special for her so I figured an afghan would work Thanks!
  5. I don't like to talk myself up everr. Lol. I was just so surprised how it turned out, especially for it being my first one. I hope this next one is just as good Thanks everyone for your comments
  6. This is so fantastic! I love the colors and pattern. Amazing job
  7. Hello, I'm super new to this forum and I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find a pattern to make a zig zag type afghan. After I finish my sister's blanket I'm making one for my dad and I wanted to try this type of blanket
  8. I'm 19 and have been crocheting for about 6 months. Not long at all! :/ But I love to do it. It keeps me busy and gives me something to do when I'm watching tv or a movie. My aunt taught me how to crochet. We're the southpaws in the family so I was lucky enough to have her teach me how to crochet. My grandma tried teaching me yearsss ago but she was right handed so I couldn't really pick it up.
  9. I wanted to go crazy for my first one so I thought a whole bunch of variegated would be crazy enough!
  10. I liked working with it. It's nice working with solid colors now lol
  11. Thanks! I'll definitely let you know if I'm over there. I have some family that live in the Cocoa area.
  12. It's right on my bed and keeps me very warm at night
  13. Yeah I started the second one about 2 weeks about. It's red, white and blue stripped. For my sister's birthday in July. Hopefully I'll get it done by then lol
