  1. I think it looks good the way it is, but my preference would be to leave it out. Looks like it's going to be a beauty though!
  2. I feel like I'm repeating myself, but I can't say it enough...Thank you everyone!!
  3. That makes much more sense to me! Thank you very much!
  4. Hello again. I am using this pattern http://cats-rockin-crochet.blogspot.com/2008/01/crochet-easy-new-born-vest.html to make a vest to go along with a baby gift. I'm completely finished except for one thing...I can't figure out how to do the fringe. Every time I try it doesn't look right. Are there any other ways to do this? Thank you in advance for any help!
  5. Thank you everyone! I was having one heck of a time trying to figure that one out!!
  6. I had a time with them, let me tell you! I don't know how many times I had to frog over half a boot and try again! Thank you!
  7. Sure, here is the link to the pattern. Maybe you can make more sense out of it than I could! Thanks! http://cats-rockin-crochet.blogspot.com/2008/01/crochet-easy-new-born-vest.html
  8. Hello. I'm working on a vest pattern that calls for me to sew together the shoulders using the back stitch. What are they asking me to do here? Thank you in advance!
  9. Stratton is his first name...I thought it was cute! His mom says it's a "cowboy" sounding name, that's why I made the cowboy booties. I'm getting ready to finish off the set by crocheting a vest to match!
  10. I just had to share, I'm so excited. It's far from perfect, but I'm still what I would consider a beginner! It's a personalized blanket and cowboy booties for my friend who just had a baby boy. What do you think? http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosbykitt/ Ok, so I finally finished the vest that was giving me SO much trouble! What do you think? http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosbykitt/
  11. Oh, one of those would work perfectly!! Thank you SO much!
  12. Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew of an edging (for a baby blanket) that is cowboy-ish. I was thinking maybe like a horseshoe shape? I don't want to do fringe because it's going to a new born and I'm afraid that would be too dangerous if they got it in their mouth. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
