  • Crocheting since...
    2 Months
  1. Hey everyone, it has been a while since I have been on here and a lot has happened in the last year, but I am back to crocheting!!! I am looking for an afghan pattern with a firetruck theme of some sort. I am looking to make this for a boy that will be 5 in July so I actually want it to be relatively fair sized as well... any ideas?? I have been searching the internet but to no avail!!! Thanks!!!
  2. @jillkap - I love the afghan in your avatar... what pattern is that... do you have a bigger picture of it??
  3. Hi, Just wondering if anyone has used the yarn made from Polartec fleece?? I have been drooling over it online for some time now but haven't made the leap purchase it yet. Just wondering how it is to work with!! Any help would be great. Thanks!
  4. Good to know Amy! I only sew my tags on presents and give aways... but my friend sells knit and crocheted items in her farm store so I'll make sure she knows!
  5. Is there anyone on here that is in Maine - specifically Downeast? I live in Columbia Falls and would love to be able to get together with some others to crochet!!
  6. I ordered tags from http://www.etsy.com/shop/mountainstreetarts and then sew them onto my work!
  7. Where would I find information on the Master's Program on the Yarn Council site?
  8. I was finally able to get a better picture of the afghan when the sun came out
  9. Wow!! This is GREAT!
  10. @RaggedyAnn - I live about 15 minutes from Machias and actually work there a few times a week!!!! Very small world!
  11. Here's a link to a ponch pattern for kids on Etsy.com... I'm sure you could modify it easily enough to include the popcorn stitch.. http://www.etsy.com/listing/61144620/vintage-1970s-baby-cape-poncho-crochet?ref=sr_list_21&ga_search_type=all&ga_includes%5B0%5D=tags_exact&ga_search_query=crochet+poncho+pattern&ga_page=2&ga_facet=
  12. Oops!! Messed around and have figured it out!! On my iPod so I can't erase my previous posting, but thanks to anyone that looked and wanted to help!!
  13. I am hoping that there are lots of people on here that do tunisian crochet!! I have been working on a Tunisian throw made from blocks using different stitches. I ran into the Tunisian Lace stitch and am now confused. You work the foundation forward pass like you normally would, but for the return pass it says to Ch3, yo and draw through 5 loops, yo and draw throuh 1 loop (cluster made)... how in the heck do I ch3... Off what and from where!? Hope someone here can help ! Thank you!!
