  1. Those look good! Have you gone to the craft fairs to sell them?
  2. Thanks again. I am thinking about making jewelry and selling them at craft fairs.
  3. Holding the hook too tight to where she is getting a callous on her thumb.
  4. My mom was wondering what you folks do when you hold the hook too tight.
  5. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
  6. Is there any tips you crocheters would like to share? Ones that haven't been suggested already? I want to try but kind of scared to.
  7. Thank you. I made set of flower earrings not too long ago. Thanks everyone. Will make more earrings eventually.
  8. Don't know if it has been posted about, but Halos of Hope is an organization that sends out chemo hats to patients. They are on Facebook and have a website.
  9. This is my third year. Going to send the 12 I made to another state this year.
  10. I don't have a name for them yet. The Catherine's wheel pattern inspired me to make a bookmark, and I took a section of that and made these earrings. I think they came out good considering this is the first time I made something like this.
  11. Hannah, once you watch the video that HDorsett2 posted, you will find that pattern easy. It looks complicated, but it isn't. I finished a bookmark recently that was similar to this.
  12. If you are crocheting too tight, you might want to go up a hook size or two.
  13. Filet uses standard crochet stitches. Hair pin lace has a loom that you use. Here is a website for filet crcohet: http://www.smartcrochet.com/ Here is a website for hairpin lace: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art5429.asp There are other websites out there, google is your friend!
