  1. One year I planted, I think it was, green yellow and red peppers too close together and ended up with really ugly brownish peppers. LOL

    Help

Seems to me the pattern could use more explanation on the cluster than there evidently is. It's a nice stitch pattern that I hadn't run across before. I've made a number of different baskets and I'm always interested in seeing different ones.

Its hard to tell much with just ten stitches around: This is just showing two repeats.

What is the stitch definition for how to do the MCL? and the beginning MCL? I'm not good at visualizing but if the first cluster is made over two stitches and the rest are made over three stitches including beginning in the stitch with the previous cluster, then the count comes out right. Is that as clear as mud?! Also you mention having 100 clusters. The side starts with 100 hdc. The next round should be 50 clusters and 50 chains for a total of 100 stitches.

What pattern are you using? You can post a link to it or type in a couple of rounds where the problem is. Often baskets have you using two or more strands of yarn together which would make a difference in the size.

  11. Ellie, your garden sounds great! What kind of beans? We have tomatoes, eggplant, squash and red bell peppers. Lots of blooms but nothing to harvest yet. I dreamed last night that I finished up some skeins. Does that count?!?! LOL
  12. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#craft=crochet&weight=jumbo&pc=blanket&query=blanket&sort=best&view=captioned_thumbs You might look through these patterns for an idea of how much yarn is needed for different sizes and stitch patterns to have some idea of how much more yarn you might need.
  13. I was sure I would be taking that trip this week. LOL Probably won't be making any progress for a while.
  14. Fixing to go crochet for a while but there won't be a change in my score. WTD -14

  18. Rainbow block blanket. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/rainbow-block-crochet-afghan It's for an almost 3 year old. I was looking for something he wouldn't immediately outgrow, but was a relatively simple stitch pattern. Not up for a complicated pattern or appliques right now. Up side of buying the pattern was it's in a book with a number of others that look like I would enjoy making.
  19. My yarn order came in....-14. Luckily I got the pattern book the same day.
  20. Hello from Mississippi! It's easy to get lots of projects started. I'm always seeing a pattern I want to make.
  21. Hello from Mississippi! I've always intended to try hairpin but haven't gotten to it yet.
