  1. Hi! I have a giveaway for some snail planters crocheted in jute. This is on my Facebook page: http://on.fb.me/1bm4oP6 I hope you'll stop by for a visit
  2. Hi Everyone, I wanted to let you know that my duck pattern is now FREE to download on Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/quacky-lotion-topper
  3. Thank you for the wonderful compliments.
  4. I decided to fuse my love of crocheting and gardening. Here are some purses I crocheted out of jute gardening twine. A how-to and pattern for the bigger purse can be found here: http://balatong-balatong.blogspot.com/2013/05/crocheted-jute-purse.html
  5. Here's my version of a towel topper. I recently made a tutorial for this: http://balatong-balatong.blogspot.com/2013/01/towel-control.html. It works up really fast.
  6. To dress up the generic plastic pots most plants come in, I designed a cozy. Ceramic pots can be pretty expensive and these cozies spare me the hassle of having to repot the plants. You can find out more about them here: http://balatong-balatong.blogspot.com/2012/11/cant-have-too-many-sweaters.html
  7. Cozy giveaway, plant included. For more details, visit http://balatong-balatong.blogspot.com/2012/11/cant-have-too-many-sweaters.html
  8. You can also use these as ornaments. I made a little hanger from florist wire. In this photo, I used sisal rope instead of jute, and the plant is sedum angelina.
  9. that is sooo cool! thank you for sharing the link
  10. For Earth Day I decided to make these little planters out of jute. To give them the look of pineapples, I planted some plants called Platt's Black, which are sometimes called Brass Buttons. Here is the link to the pattern if you'd like to make some for yourself or someone else. http://balatong-balatong.blogspot.com/2012/04/happy-earth-day.html

  12. What a cute set! I feel so flattered
  13. Hi! Have you tried to download from this site: http://www.scribd.com/doc/53141195/Slouch-Hat-Pattern If there's still a problem, please PM me and I can email you the file.
  14. I just updated this design after some input about it being too tight. I refer to slip stitch as SL in the pattern. Please use the second page for adult size. The first page can be for a child's hat. http://balatong-balatong.blogspot.com/2011/04/slouching-for-charity.html
