  1. I discovered JIMBO hooks here...however now it seems his page has not been updated for several years.  Can anyone tell me what happened to Jimbo???

  2. Please give link to the sandcastle.
  3. Here is my thread crocheted Easter Basket. It is just big enough for one special egg. Make a buch of em in dif colors and hang on branches... This is my first original pattern, but I will post it if anyone is interested.
  4. Finally finished it! If you sell something like this on Etsy what would you charge for it? This took me 2 weeks to complete!
  5. I am a relatively new crocheter, most I learned from my Mom or on YouTube. Early on I only wanted to crochet flowers. Mostly because I could finish one in a short time giving me a sense of accomplishment. As time when on I began doing more complicated patterns and even created my own designs. I am also a poet. I write regular poetry but mostly write poems custom ordered for Special Occasions. Anyway recently I began combining the two. While I crochet I have a pad of paper handy to write down some of my random thoughts for a poem I am working on. It's kinda similar to the prayer shawls I've read about. That lead me to wonder what everyone else thinks about while they are crocheting. So tell me what do you think about? Is it sc 1 dc 2 etc or is there anything else going on there?
  6. I recently opened a shop on Zibbet. I know there is Etsy and Artfire as well. Does anyone know if there are other places to open a shop that is reasonable?
  7. I just created an IPAD for Halloween as part of a costume or maybe your kids have been bugging you for an IPad for Christmas?... I had my hubby model it, what do you think?

  9. I created this gold watch for a friend who is retiring as a gag gift.
  10. I created this pattern to hold your silverware and paper napkin. It's kinda like a napkin ring but made to hold your silverware wrapped in a paper napkin. I got the idea because I hate using my cloth napkins because they are too hard to get the stains out (especially spagetti). The holder gives it the dressy eye appeal of the cloth napkins and yet still have disposible napkins. What ya think?? The first one is shown before the silverware is rolled in a paper napkin. The second one shows finished product. The little rosette that holds it together does open up too.
  11. I have been trying to crochet flowers with wire...I did a Spider plant and a trio of flowers. See below.
  12. I just found out mine is gonna be a nephew, also due in late Aug!!
  13. Here is a pattrn for adults>>>http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/high-top-slipper-socks Try it, you just might surprise yourself!
  14. YES!!! Where did you find it? I looked there but did not find it...Thanks for finding it for me!
