  1. Thanks all! You guys just opened up a whole new world of crocheting for me! I was so confused and had no idea what they were talking about but now I understand.
  2. I have been looking at patterns and several of the ones that I think about trying have a direction at the very beginning that I don't understand. I can't start them because I don't know how to do what they are talking about. So, please help!!! Here is an example of what I am talking about: Rnd 1: With color A, 6 sc in adjustable ring (6) How do you do this? Thanks for any help!

    My little accident

    Wow nice accident.
  4. I really love that pattern! I have been looking for a square and this just may be it! Thanks for sharing. I may need to practice more before I am good enough to make it but I do love the looks of this.
  5. Ok so I finally finished the afghan but I still haven't decided on a project. I have been thinking of a granny square baby-ghan but I can not find an pattern that I want to do yet. Do any of you have a really cute baby-afghan (preferably granny square) patterns that you don't mind sharing?
  6. I finished my afghan! Finally! So glad that it is finished. Now I can move on to project number 3 which I have not decided on yet.
  7. Well my only set goal for this month is to finish my afghan... I only have about 6 more rows... but my cat got into my yarn and broke the yarn and did who knows how much damage. So I have to get into it and see if I have a lot of fixing to do. After that... hmm don't know yet.
  8. Wow great ideas so far! Jessica my cousin just had a baby boy and a lady at church will be having a baby soon as well. I have been looking at baby items to make just having trouble deciding. I have super saver yarn from Red Heart and I was afraid that this material would be too harsh on a baby's skin. Thanks all for the ideas so far!
  9. So I didn't know where to post this... but I am kind of stuck on what to crochet next. I am a beginner to the crochet world so my abilities are a little lacking. I am nearing the end of my first afghan and have made a hat and now I have no idea what to do next. I don't mind challenging myself a little (how else will I get better and learn new things ). So I am taking suggestions... Oh yeah I don't have much money to spend on yarn and hooks and such so that kind of limits things. So does anyone know of a fairly easy, cheap project that I can do? I would rather not get into another afghan if possible but hey if something sparks my fancy I might just do it. Thanks for any advice/suggestions!
  10. So I finished a project using a pattern ( I couldn't wait any longer to try it out) and I am getting closer to finishing my afghan but I am afraid I won't be able to finish it this month but I do feel some sense of accomplishment.
  11. Welcome! I am a from TN as well.
  12. I love it!! Cute little Froggie.
  13. I guess when we all have mega knots we should just mail them to you and let you get them out for us lol.
  14. Mine was too busy laughing and saying "You are still going at that?"
