  3. I'm seeking a crocheted pattern of a geisha to crochet. Can anyone help me? If anyone can direct me to a needlepoint or cross stitch pattern, I might be able to use that also. Oh it would b nice if it were free:) Looking for one in a chart form.
  4. That's a bunch for the ideas. I think I can now comw up with something that might work for her. Now she tells me she would like me to make it out of thread. That will change the configgurations a bit , but hopefully, I can figure it out.
  5. This may seem like an odd request, but does anyone know of a crochet pattern for a flask? Not for me,but for a frien who likes to frequent the renaisance feastivals and takes her flask with her. She wants to carry it in something that looks fancy. Now aint that silly? Anyway can anyone help?
  6. Hi Gabriela, I'm making a copy of your crown to make for my nieces and nephews. They all like to play act and I'm sure they will enjoy these crowns. Thank you
  7. Thank you sooo much , dlfoxy1 and froggie, Youall just made my day. I had been knocking my brain wonder where I was gonna find that pattern. I just can't thank you enough!
  8. Hi,I'm new to computer useage and I just discovered this section of this forum. I need you all help in finding an old Cameo doily pattern. I searched but the one that came up;"Jane Austin",is not the one I remember seeing before. The one I seek shows the lady facing left with an upswept hairdo, like in a bun style. So if anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
  9. This is the closes one. I remember that the lady was facing left and her hairdo was up like in a bun style; not with a bonnet. I had this pattern when I was about 30ish so I don't remember what book or mag it came from. Let me apologoze for not responding sooner, but as I am new, it takes me awhile to surf and find the correct location I was on. I will ,from now on , make notes where I was at, so I can get to the same place faster. Thanks abunch for helping . I think I can work with that pattern.
  10. Can anyone help me in finding a crochet "Cameo" pattern. I know it is a vintage one and I use to have it but I can't find it anywhere. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. I would like to make some of these doilies and frame them to give as gifts. Thanks ever so much :hugto anyone who can help.
  11. Hi ya'll , I recently started crocheting cotton dishcloth as well and I find using the Tunisian stitch works best because it doesn't stretch as much as a regular crochet stitch does. If you know how to do this kind of crochet, alternate your stitches between the purl stitch and the knit stitch. I give this as gifts and everyone who uses them says they work better then any others they have had in the past.
  12. I would love to contribute some butterflies. To me they are a sign of "new life" . So how do I go about finding out where to send these. I am not very good at navigating on the computer to find info, as I have not been a computer user for very long.
  13. Hi youall I'm not sure if this is the correct way of doing this, but I am looking for a doily called a "Cameo doily", to crochet. It is an old pattern. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks a bunch. amkid
  14. Dear Crochet Hugs from Tx, I would love to help. Let me know where I can send my squares. I am Very new to this forum and don't know much of the ins and outs. amkid
  15. HI youall I'm new to this forum. Actually, I have never used the computer to talk to anyone, so if I sound lost that is why. I don't have much knowledge of computers, so it will take me sometime to get the hang of using it. I have been crocheting for about thirty years. I enjoy doing just about everything aslon as I have the instructions and I use all kinds of mediums; from yarns to threads. My favorite is to crochet with thread. I have a grown daughter and a granddaughter. Neither one took up crocheting, yet. Happy crocheting . Thats all for now, cause I tend to chatter on about whatever comes to mind.
