  1. I have been out of crocheting for about a year now and just started a baby afghan for a friend of mine. Do you start one project and finish it before starting another or do you have multiple projects going at one time?
  2. Hello All, I have been a member of Crochetville for a couple of years, but over the last year I haven't been on here much and wanted to tell everyone hi. the last year has been difficult with my crocheting and knitting. I have Fibromyalgia and holding a hook or needle for a long time usually results in several days of pain. I have been working on small projects just so I can crochet. I do miss the days of sitting all day crocheting. Hope everyone is well and Happy Hooking!!! Sheryl
  3. Thank you so much! Now I won't have a half done christmas tree. I appreciate your help.
  4. A few months back someone posted a link to a blog that had a pattern for a christmas card holder. It was made out of different sized granny squares and I printed out the pattern and started the project. However, I got sidetracked and now can not find my pattern to finish up my Christmas tree. Does anyone remember this? Thanks for your help!!
  5. I haven't gotten to post in the last couple of weeks because my DH has been very ill. I have actually finished two giant afghans. I need to make sure I get my score in this week.

  7. Sold some yarn this week which helps out and didn't get to post last week because I was sick all weekend. Didn't even pick up my hook. Here's my total for weekending 4/24/10 W-T-D +36 Y-T-D -194 If I keep on getting rid of yarn and not buying any I might be in the positive for the year eventually. Everyone have a great weekend.
  8. Can you tell me where you found this pattern. I think that is beautiful and would love to make it.
  9. Leisure arts has a tutorial on dyeing yarn with Kool-aid. Looks really easy.
  10. I made them for Christmas one year as gifts. Just took a Hand towel, folded it over and sewed the 3 open sides and filled it with deer corn. It's actually the cheapest way and if you are using it as a hot pad will stay hot longer. Walmart usually sells it.
  11. I actually have two of these and love them. They do ship fast, I got them in about 3 days.
  12. Thanks everyone I finally got it last night. I think it was the 3 that was throwing me off. Actually started a new afghan last night and couldn't put it down.
  13. I have been crocheting for a while, but have never understood this. dc3tog (dc 3 sts together) Yarn over, insert hook into st and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops. (Yarn over, insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through 2 loops) twice, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook – 2 sts decreased. Does this mean all in the same stitch so I insert the hook pull through the loops and then when I insert the hook again I go back into the same stitch as before. I would really love to learn to do a ripple and I have a brain fart wh
