    Ever since I can remember
  1. The Asheville area yarn stores are having a yarn crawl this weekend. I showed extreme restraint and came home with two skeins. WTD -4 YTD +48
  2. Here's my grandson (aka Little Man) wearing the hat I whipped up for him to wear when he and his Mommy walk the dogs every day.
  3. Sorry I've been MIA for so long; I've been on the west side of the country for the last couple of weeks, spoiling my 6 mo old grandson. (No excuses for the weeks before that.) I don't remember what came in and went out before my trip, so I'll pick up where my memory starts. Just before my trip, I bought one skein of sock yarn to knit my son-in-law some socks. Then I bought three skeins on my trip; one for Mom's socks, one for my own "souvenir" socks, and a skein of yarn that says it's 100% sugar cane. It's soooo soft! Meanwhile, the only skein I know I finished off was a skein of soft cotton for a sun hat for my grandson and a dishcloth for my daughter. So, as best I can figure, I'm at WTD -7 YTD +52
  4. I've been knitting socks, which doesn't use up yarn very fast (and doesn't finish off skeins, either). Same scores as last week. WTD 0 YTD +59
  5. No gain, no glory. WTD 0 YTD +59
  6. Hello from western NC! I, too, suffer from new-project-itis. Sometimes I tell myself, just do 10 minutes on an ignored project, then do something you want to do. Those 10-min sessions add up. Other times I go on a FOF Campaign -- Finish or Frog. If I don't like the item enough to finish it, I frog it and use the yarn for something else. Welcome to the 'Ville!
  7. I love working with small skeins of thick yarn! WTD +4 YTD +59
  8. Welcome, Laurie! As you can see, we have a lot of fun de-stashing (and re-stashing,too). Used 1 skein and 1 ball this week... WTD +3 YTD +55
  9. Finally used one, didn't buy any!WTD +2 YTD +52
  10. Looks like I'm not too late... Purchased 10 skeins (mostly sock yarn, small skeins but take forever to use) and took 8 skeins to work for the patients to use, so this week I'm at WTD -4 YTD +50
  11. Sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks, but they were all zeros anyway. Bought two skeins last Sunday to make a Kindle cover for my Mom (not sure which color she'll like better) so I'm at WTD -4 YTD +54
  12. Love the blanket! And aren't grandsons great? Unfortunately mine lives in CA and doesn't need a bunch of crocheted blankets; otherwise the poor boy would be buried in them!
  13. Some beautiful pics on here this week -- Congratulations, everyone! Put me down for membership in the Big Fat Zero Club -- WTD 0 YTD +58
  14. Thank you! I'm a life-long night creature. It's a great time to crochet without interruption.
  15. A day late and a dollar (or more) short for the week... WTD +9 YTD +58 but maybe on time for YTD.
