This was a custom request from a friend of mine. The dress, diaper cover, and booties come from this pattern: http://crotiques.com/bgs.htm. It calls for an 'I' hook but I used a 'H' to make it a little smaller for a newborn. On the booties, I changed the ankle strap that the pattern called for into ties to make it easier to get on and off. I made up the pattern for the head band. TFL!

How pretty! I'm working on this same blanket after learning the technique from the My Life In Knots blog. Mine is cream and a dark orange. I make custom baby items for a living so I get sick of 'baby' colors and choose other colors whenever I can.

Here's one I made for my fiance to use in the 4th of July parade last year. It won a blue ribbon at the county fair a few weeks later.
