  1. I want to THANK my FGM from Sherburne, NY for sending me a Jimbo chop stick. I was so excited to receive this in the mail! What a wonderful day!!!!!! I can't wait to use it!!!! Again thank you so much!!
  2. Oh, my thank you so much for sharing that!!!! I am going to have to try that next time!!!!
  3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CROCHETVILLE! Thanks Donna and Amy for starting this board and keeping it going! I love it here and have learned so much in the little time that I have been here!
  4. Thanks Debbie! So, I would chain an even amount like say 24 plus one making it 25 then so the sc, dc, sc....til the end. Would I then ch 1 and turn and just keep going! Are you doing stripes since they want red and grey?
  5. Does anyone have a good simple pattern that could be for a female or male. I would like to make one but am fairly new to crochet and haven't made a scarf yet. I have searched a little online but was wondering if anyone had a pattern that they just love to make and is willing to share? Thanks in advance!!!
  6. I would love to help but I am fairly new to crochet so if some has a pattern for the 8" and 12" square that you could share I will send at least one of each. Thanks, Kimberly
  7. Lindy, Thanks again so much! I am going to try a square soon to see if I can do it. I may be contacting you again! I love it. My mom would like one too because she isn't crazy about afghans with holes in them!!!
  8. Lindy, thanks for replying! I am new to crochet (since last year) and I am not sure how to start the square based on your directions. Would you mind explaining how you started the center? PLEASE! After you got the center did you join with your new color and keep working with double crochet until the square was done. How many rows did you do? When you joined the squares together did you go through both loops or just back loop of each square? Thanks a bunch in advance!!!!!!
  9. Lindy, I love it! Do you have the pattern for it! I would LOVE to have it!!!!!!
  10. These are so cute! I may have to try to make some for myself or for the kids!!!!!
  11. Kathryn, those are beautiful and I know that the parents will love them. I am a NICU mom myself. My twins were born 6 weeks early and had to stay in the NICU, they are 3 now. You have inspired to get my butt in gear and do what I have wanted to do since they was born and that is to make some blanket and hats myself to donate to our NICU. You are such a wonderful person to organize a donation like you do every year, I know that all of the families that receive the wonderful things that you and all of the others make are extremely grateful.
  12. Linda, it is beautiful! I am sure that it will keep you nice and warm!
  13. I love the sweater sets! What pattern did you use for the hat? I would love to make some hats for newborns and preemies for the NICU where my twins were born. I love your hat!
