  1. I received my yarn, and it is just so yummy!!! Thank you so much! I cannot wait to use it! Then I think I will get some of the other colors too! Everyone should definately get some of this if you haven't already!
  2. At the risk of overloading your PM box - did you get two PM's from me? I had one all typed up with the yarn info and it said I wasn't logged in both times. Just let me know, as I know sometimes they still send even if they say that.
  3. My vote is for sailboats also!
  4. You know, I found a free knitting pattern the other day that looks pretty close to that that I am dying to try and convert to crochet! Here is the link: http://www.tahkistacycharles.com/media/File/45:05_FreePatVHcabletunic_FDCFW07F30.pdf I would love to have either of these sweaters!
  5. I like gift cards also, but I'm not picky I'd be happy with anything!
  6. Thanks for the tip! I just did part one, though- I didn't have time to do the other. But I can't wait to get my pattern book!

  8. LOL! I'm sorry - I don't have a pattern, but I just had to let you know I just about choked on my coffee when I read your title! Too funny!!!!
  9. Thanks a bunch- I will try washing and blocking it and see what happens. I will let you all know!
  10. That is just stunning! I too would love to test this for you, or buy the pattern when and if you get it written up. I think it would make a beautiful Christmas gift!
  11. I finally finished my sweater from this pattern http://www.modadea.com/patterns/LM0232.htm last night using Bernat Haven in Cinnamon Mist. I must say, the sweater turned out to be very pretty, but it keeps growing! It started out to be the right size, but after taking it off and on several times to try it with several different shirts underneath it kept stretching more and more. Now it is way too big for my taste. What would you all do? Should I frog it and remake it with a smaller hook , make up a swatch of leftover yarn and see if I can get it to shrink, or just give it to someone else whom it will fit? I am afraid of trying to shrink it because it may turn out badly and then I won't be able to even reuse the yarn. Help!!!
  12. As hard as I try to say it the correct way SKAAANE, I still say SKEEEN!!
  13. I'm with you on that Joancrafts! I used to only work on one thing at a time also. But now I have so many WIP's I can't even remember them all! The list in my signature are only the ones I am currently working on, I have probably 4 or 5 more in a basket next to my chair. I keep the ones I am working on in one basket and the ones I am not in individual small brown bags(like the kind you get for icecream at Walmart) in another basket. Each bag is labeled with the project name, and hook size and contains the project, yarn and the pattern if it is printed off.
