  2. Got an old T-shirt you don't want any more... turn it into yarn then whip up a potholder. Simples! I show you how on my blog and include directions, pattern and how to's with lots of photos. Save the planet and it's free!! Mandy http://6ichthusfish.typepad.com/6ichthusfish/2013/05/crochet-potholder-with-t-shirt-yarn-.html

  6. Hi, I couldn't see a 'freeform' category so posted here. This bag/purse was so much fun to make. I have designed many crochet items (free patterns on the left sidebar of my blog) but this is my first ever freeform project and I'd love to know what you folks think? thanks. 8. Here's a picture of the new flower I made today. It was made with a 2mm hook and 4ply cotton thread/yarn. If you like it you can get the pattern free from the pattern links here on Crochetville... that'll take you straight to my blog and the pdf downloads. Oh, it's called 'Stella' meaning 'star'.
  9. I made a new flower design today and the pattern is free on my blog so please help yourself. It's called 'Stella' because that means 'star' in latin. Click here to go get the free pattern in USA and UK crochet terms. Mandy
  10. I made these flowers with thicker cotton yarn (4ply) but think they'd look cute made with thinner cotton too. It's on my to-do list to make some as scrapbook embellishments (a fave of mine). Grab yourself a free download of the pattern and let me know what you think. Mandy http://6ichthusfish.typepad.com/6ichthusfish/2012/05/free-crochet-flower-pattern-tahiti-blossom.html
  11. This flower is 3.5" in size when made with sport weight yarn. I think it would look sweet on a bag, hat or headband. The pattern is free too so help yourself. Mandy http://6ichthusfish.typepad.com/6ichthusfish/2012/05/free-crochet-flower-pattern-tahiti-blossom.html
  12. Hi folks, I made a new flower design with seven petals for a change. 'Tahiti Blossom' also has a cute round of inner petals. Hope you like it! 13. Crazy Chick was designed to fit into plastic eggs for Easter egg Hunts, so he's only 3.5" at full stretch. He's quick to make so there's still time before Easter and any hunts you have planned. I think he'll be cute instead of chocolate or money in an Easter Egg Hunt. The pattern is free on my blog (scroll down for pdf download). Also I have other free patterns on my blog, so please help yourself. Mandy McK (Moogieof4) blog
