  1. Please enter me in this giveaway. I would love to make bugs bunny for my sons two year old. Thanks.
  2. My stitches are fine. I think the problem is when I chain to do the next round I am losing height to it. Because thats the side that is always shorter and I don't know how to adjust that.
  3. I don't have a picture. But my basic granny squares with not measure the same around and I have no idea why. My tension is always the same.
  4. Every time I crochet a square, no matter what style it is, my squares are never even. I am always off 1/2 inch when I turn the square. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks.
  5. I would love to be part of the drawing. I have so many baby blankets to make and my favorite yarn is simply soft. thanks, Arlene
  6. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS PATTERN. I LOVE RRs. CAN'T WAIT TO START THIS ONE.
  7. Aggie May, Please add me to the list. Right now I am working on the RR with gaps. Would love to do one without. Thanks, Arlene
  8. To Frloplady I think that is exactly what is happening. I am trying to adjust the afghan every which way to try to get the same tension. I will try a different size hook. Thank you, I never thought of that.
  9. I am working on a star afghan. My problem is not the pattern, nor it laying flat. The problem is going up the hill my stitches are straight, going down the hill my stitches are curving. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. My hobby.
  10. What a great job!! I love the idea of a sofa cover. Where did you get the pattern or is this yours? I would love to make one.
  11. I'm thinking about joining, those hexagons are gorgeous. The problem I am going to have is joining them. Is there a diagram? Can they be whipstitched or are they join as you go? Arlene
  12. Absolutely love your work. The afghan is gorgeous. Please let me know when you have it published and ready to sell. Thanks Arlene
  13. I would also love to know how to increase the size. Your hats are so nice. Need to make a beanie for a teacher I work with. Thanks.
  14. Thank you ladies. I was able to catch the piece with the hook, bring it to the back and weave it into a stitch, I hope it holds. I will try to be more careful next time.
  15. Can someone please help me fix my puffs. I am doing the abc afghan with puffs, but I keep catching my hook in the puffs from the previous rows and can't stand the thought of having to rip out all those stitches. Does anyone know how I can fix a finished puff stitch that has yarn hanging out? Thanks:think
  16. I found a pattern today on "my boring life blog" for a circle crochet scarf pattern, looks pretty close to pattern.
  17. Your scarf came out beautiful. I have the Bernat chunky yarn in variegated blues. Would love to make this scarf. Only 1 question - How do you get the other end to look like the beginning? So they look the same when wrapped around neck?
  18. I was happy to find this page, for I am one person who has made three of them so far. Yes, it is alot of work, but, so worth it at the end. I made the first one for my son who played football in H.S., using the school colors. And others for family members. I will be starting one for my boss shortly. One question to football mom. How did you sew the footballs together? Because mine looks a little bumpy sewn together.
  19. I guess maybe I will make two separate swatches of the pattern to see what the difference is. Thanks anyway, Arlene
  20. The book I bought was 154 wave patterns. Thanks
  21. Someone please help me understand. I just bought a ripple book that has quite a few patterns which tells you to finish off at the end of each or every other row. Most of these patterns are right side - wrong side. I can't figure out why I can't chain and turn or in other instance change color and turn. Is there a reason for this. I hope someone knows why? Thanks.
  22. Thanks for helping me with the DCD stitch. Tried working the pattern with 20 + 1 multiples and it did not work. The stitches used for the pattern is 18 plus the 1 at the beginning and 1 at the end, plus the extra on the chain, which made it 18 + 3 multiples. It took me a while to figure it out, but that works. Again thanks for your help. MY Hobby
  23. I tried the feather and fan in crochet on the website you are talking about and I think the instructions are wrong, because the DCD stitch does not add up. If someone can explain it better to me, I would appreciate it.
