    Plain ol' Granny

it's gorgeous. I have a thing for large grannies.
  2. I saw a HP scarf that inspired me to learn to crochet so that I could make my own. I finally did it. I love the finished product. I ended up giving it away to a friend. I'll be making another one for me. =) Thanks for looking!
  3. Thank you all for your kinds words! I love this blanket and I'm very proud of it-flaws and all!
  4. beautiful scarves. I love all 3 of them!
  5. This is my first "big project" and I finished it this month for my niece. I used the pattern "Sweet Pea Afghan" from Lion Brand website. I substituted mint green for pea green.
  6. A Harry Potter scarf is my next project. I love the way your scarf looks. I'm going to use this stitch for mine. Thank you so much for sharing.

    ditty bags

Very nice. I love these little bags. I've made 4 so far. I've posted pics of my first three on my fb, too. I just made my fourth one this week with 2 strands of acrylic yarn and an "I" sized hook. It turned out great. I'm deciding what color combinations I want to make my next one in.

    star wars puppets

    I love these....awesome!!!
  9. Very pretty. Did you use a particular pattern or did you make it up yourself? I love the way the variegated yarn looks.
  10. My 13-year old daughter really cracks on me for crocheting. She says it's a grandma hobby and I'm too young to do it. A guy at work in his 20s made fun of me when he found out I like to crochet. In response I threatened to crochet him a hat for each day of the week. LOL I love to crochet and find it very relaxing. I'm 33 and I have no problems with having a "grandma" hobby.
  11. Thanks for all of your suggestions. I haven't crocheted since having that pain on Monday but when I crochet again I'll try what you all said.
  12. I'm right handed and I started having left handed hand/wrist and left shoulder pain while crocheting. I've never had any problems with anything like this before. I think it's weird that it's the hand holding the yarn that is the one hurting. My right hand (holding the hook) doesn't bother me at all. I had to take Advil because the pain is bothering me so bad. Does anyone else ever get this? What suggestions do you have for me to keep from getting this pain? Am I doing something wrong?
  13. Ropergirl, those dishcloths are awesome! Such pretty colors.
  14. Sorry I wasn't thinking. LI Roe is right--it is the Crochet Hooded Baby Blanket. I want to leave off the hood and make it bigger. I'm not sure how many chains to add. Maybe I should get some white yarn and alternate row colors...idk. Or maybe I should just make it with the hood and forget about it....I just wanted a bigger blanket. Thanks for your ideas.
  15. Wow...that is great! That must have taken a lot of time. I love it.
