  • How long have you been crocheting?
    Fall of 2005
  1. I am so glad I found this! I want to make one for my nephew that is due in May, and these diaper stackers can be used for several years, for diapers, pull-up, undies, washcloths, hand towels; a very practical gift, thanks so much for the pattern!
  2. How many rounds did you do for this blankie? I count 36 rounds plus border, is that correct? What are your finished measurements? I would like to make this blankie for a baby that is on the way, but I don't have a stroller here to size the blankie up to. I do like that you used hdc in this blankie, seems like it would make the Granny holes smaller that way
  3. This is an online PDF file creator that takes many different file types and converts them to PDF for free and without having to download a program http://convert.neevia.com/pdfconvert/ hope that helps!
  4. I just realized the original post was from April... did this pattern get posted? I thought maybe I just missed it somehow....
  5. I know a very special someone that I would love to make this shawl for. I am anxiously awaiting the release of this pattern! It is beautiful!
  6. I would love to join you, but for some reason I can not send you a PM.... sent you an email instead....
  7. Is this the one you used? http://www.scribd.com/doc/7159950/Kitty-Couches
  8. I know this is an old post, but this is exactly what I want to make for my daughter and niece! Can you (or anybody) please explain HOW you start a granny without a center????? Thanks so much! EDIT: I was so excited to see this that I forgot to tell you how awesome your hooded poncho looks!
  9. I chain, the take my hook out then turn and put my hook back in. For me, that makes the neatest rows.
  10. Oooo thanks so much! I don't knit but have loved this pattern ever since I first saw it!
  11. I was also born (6 weeks premature) on Friday the 13th, turned 13 on Friday the 13th, had my prom on Friday the 13th (where I met my husband) moved in with him on Friday the 13th, and my birthday this year is friday the 13th (february) so Friday the 13th is may favorite holiday!
  12. I am having an issue with a ripple I am making too, my ends keep tapering inwards, my end section has 1 less stitch at each end.... I have no idea what I am doing wrong.... any ideas???? This is the pattern I am using: http://home.att.net/~susanBinKC/patterns/ripple.html Thanks for any help!
  13. I bought 2 skeins of Simply Soft Quick in Grape for $1.00 each at Walmart (I love clearance items!) Then I found this pattern: http://yeenmachine.blogspot.com/2008/10/chunky-yarn-hat.html Then I created this hat: Don't you just love my goofy cell phone picture face!
  14. Here is a simple scarf pattern that I have made many of: http://www.fuzzygalore.biz/patterns/crochet_v.shtml
  15. I am currently on a mission to figure out how those Tabajacks are made. Personally, I think fleece would be warmer than crochet..... but that is my opinion I would rather make something myself than buy it.
