  1. Thanks for the picture it helps out a lot! I'm glad you like the pattern. I'm going to keep on working on it.
  2. Thank you for adding the link. Sounds like I'm doing it the right way, but maybe it's just not taking shape yet or something. The first row does look right, but the 2nd doesn't. I'm interested to see what you think of the swatch acraftylady, thank you for making one. Thanks guys for helping me.
  3. Hello, hopefully someone has this book and can help me out. I'm working on the Dreamy Stripes by Aline Suplinskas on page 10. I haven't been able to get past the 2nd row of this pattern and I'm not 100% sure I've got any of this right. It's just not looking like the picture of the afghan. For the first row can I chain only once after drawing through all 4 loops and then move on? I'm not sure if they want me to cluster and then chain one and then chain one again? The second row is really throwing me off, I don't know why because this pattern seems simple enough, but the afghan isn't taking shape like the one in the picture. I've been putting my SC's in the space above where all clusters meet, where the chain 1 spot is. Any advice on this would be great, it's been a while since I've crocheted, and even then I was kind of new at it.
  4. Welcome from TN too. I haven't posted here in a while, but I love this site! I'm getting back into this hobby again. You'll like it here!
  5. The new show The Middle came on ABC last night, and if I'm not mistaken they had a crochet ripple afghan and another one on the other side. It's a cute show. There's a picture here http://abc.go.com/shows/the-middle/episode-guide?page=1#a
  6. Hi, a while back I remember seeing a granny square afghan with the granny squares sewn together in a diamond shape. I swear I saw a picture of an afghan like this in the TV and Media forum, but I can't find it anymore. In the picture there was a girl laying on the bed and this afghan was her bedspread. I was hoping to find it to get a better look at how they put it together. Anyone know of one like it or know where this picture is? Thanks!
  7. yea, could be.. I will do that because that's probably what they meant.
  8. Thanks Heart, at least I know it wasn't just me lol. I guess that will teach me to read the whole pattern before I start.
  9. I ran into trouble with this old granny square pattern. I already had to update the whole 1 chain between corners to two, but the 6th row has confused me. It looks simple enough, but it has me stumped. Thanks in advance for any help. 6th Row. Attach Scarlet and work 1 puff st in each dc and 2 puffs sts, ch 3, 2 puff sts in loop at each corner, join, break yarn
  10. OH MY GOSH! Your husband is so lucky! I love this afghan.. Wow.. is all I can say! I loved playing Super Mario Bros. as a kid so this is like the Mona Lisa to me lol.. You did a super job on it! :cheer
