  4. I've been looking for something like this. Thank you for sharing! Amanda Mobile,AL
  5. I really like the one-skein scarf the Happy Hooker book, pg 100. It's definitely a women's scarf though, not sure if you're making scarves for men or women. It works up quickly and has a nice shape and lovely stitches. It has a big scalloped edge. If you don't have the book, it's prob. available at the library. Amanda Mobile, AL
  6. Does anyone know of a good ladies shrug pattern? I'd like to make something to wear over a black cocktail dress for an evening wedding next month. I wear a size 16 and am pretty busty, so if anyone roughly those dimensions has made something and liked the way it looked on, I'd be particularly interested. Thanks!! Amanda Mobile, AL
  7. Oooh thanks! I love the spiral shawl pattern on the site! Amanda Mobile, AL

    Sleepy Sheepies!

Those are adorable. And thanks mescovedo for the pattern. I printed it so I can make some for my daughters. Crocheted toys are such a great idea for all those kid b-day parties. Economical AND really special! Amanda in Mobile

  13. Thank you for sharing - I see several patterns that I like! Amanda Mobile, AL
  14. RoxyCraft used to have a cute one that I bought awhile back. I just checked and it seems to be no longer available except now there is a frog pattern for a tiny (2.5 inch) frog that comes bundled with a tiny bear and dog pattern for $3. They are cute. http://www.roxycraft.com/crochet_thumbkins_info.htm
  15. The Debbie Stoller book has a very pretty one-skein scarf on page 101. I made one and was happy with the way it turned out. It was fun and quick to do too. Amanda Mobile, AL
  16. I love the slumber party favor idea! That is really interesting yarn, but I do wonder what makes it glow. Is it very safe/non-toxic? Amanda Mobile, AL
  17. I love it! It sort of reminds me of the Gee's Bend Quilts. Amanda
  18. That's really pretty - I love the color and texture. The recipient is very lucky! Amanda Mobile, AL
  19. I was wondering if there is any software out there that can generate more sizes for you if you input a pattern you have designed. I found this: http://www.yarn-store.com/knitware-knitting-software.html Has anyone tried it? From the basic description it looks like that is what it does, but that the initial pattern design is limited to what you can pick from several drop down menus. It is not available for Mac though so I can't try it. Amanda Mobile, AL
  20. I am out off by more than say 2 photos - makes it seem complicated and cluttered
  21. Wow! That is cool - so the multicolored area is a Disney bag? Like from the Disney store? I'd love to try this. I'll have to put some thought into what bags to use. Amanda
  22. Well, my work is very part time. I really can't getting anything done unless they are asleep. Luckily they go to bed at 7 and sleep for an hour in the afternoon!
