  1. OMG, you guys are wonderful! It is the narrow steps afghan. Thank, thank you so much! I looked and looked online, but without a name could not find it. Thanks.
  2. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn265/jsreichard/0906121421.jpg Does anyone have any idea what stitch this afghan is made from.I would love to find the pattern. my husband took the pic with his cell phone. It isn;t great, but I hope someone can help. I believe it is a series of single crochets with double crochets spaced out to make diagonal lines. I have been looking online and can't find anything like it. This blanket was being used as a table cloth at the Penns cave yard sales in Pa. today and the lady at the table said her daughter made it and she knows nothing about crocheting. Thanks for the help.
  3. Very, very close, thank you Lucyf. Elvee, I think that is what I am going to do. My friend isn't good at winging it, she needs a pattern to follow so that is why I was looking for one. I think I will figure it out and write the pattern out for her. Thank you for the help.
  4. Sorry about the small pics. I don't post very often. I hope these are bigger and better. Thank you so much for the comments so far! http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn265/jsreichard/PICT0037.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn265/jsreichard/PICT0036-1.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn265/jsreichard/PICT0034-1.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn265/jsreichard/PICT0034-1.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn265/jsreichard/PICT0032.jpg
  5. My friend bought a blanket at a yard sale the other day. It said brand new $2.00. She LOVES the pattern. I looked online and couldn't find a pattern just like it. i was wondering if any of you great ladies could direct me to the pattern, or a name for this pattern. Thank you so much!!!
  6. I saw in a recent magazine, for the life of me I can't remember which, a bracelet made from soda tabs. I loved it and wanted to make one, but didn't want to buy the magazine. I also didn't have the materials called for. I came home, gathered some tabs, found some thread that I had laying around, grabbed up a hook and off I went. When I was done, and the only reason I was done was because I ran out of soda tabs, I had a bracelet and a belt for my 13 year old daughter which she promptly wore to school. I have a pic of the bracelet, but the belt is no longer mine. They were both were made the same way.
  7. Here are 2 sweaters that I made. One is for my niece and the other is for my 7 year old daughter. She is modeling hers. This is a great pattern and I just love how with a little tweaking of the pattern you can change it to make it fit almost everyone. Thank you so much for the pattern.
  8. All I can say is WOW! This is very impressive and beautifully done. Great job!
  9. Bamboo/Birch hook. I don't own one nor have I ever used one. Funny.
  10. That afghan blows my mind. One of the coolest things I think I have personally ever seen. Great work!
  11. I love this! It is very beautiful. Well done.
  12. Wow that is awesome! I have a 5 year old daughter that LOVES horses. She walks, talks, breathes and sleeps them. I have even had to make her a horse tail so she could pretend to be a horse. LOL. I showed her the afghan you made and the first thing she said can you make me one? Guess i will have to try and make her one, after Christmas. Great job!
  13. Wow, you must have worked long and hard to get that done in a weekend! Looks great!
  14. Wow, I really like your blanket! I am impressed that you have 5 done already. I have one spiderman blanket done and another spiderman part way done. I also have 2 other blankets in various stages and a shawl half done. I will never finish in time. I am on my computer looking at everybody's great stuff way too much. LOL. Keep up the great work!
