  2. Well, I arrived in Hilton Head after a 13 hr. estimated drive that was actually 16 hrs.(traffic and such) at 140 lbs. I was hoping to be at least 1 lb. less. No idea what I will come home weighing. We did ride bikes about 12 miles the past 5 days. But, we returned the bikes today. Thanks for the encouragement, Gardener and Tia.
  3. WOW!!!! The yarn is beautiful! Do you have a special project for it? Is it expensive to dye your own yarn? It looks worth it if it is.
  4. Kellie- What did the utrasound show? Is their a mass growing in the uterus? Are you in a lot of pain? I hope that all will go well for you. Jempast- I hope that your surgery goes well for you, too. I hear that gallbladder surgery isn't as invasive as it used to be. I'm sure you'll be in good hands.
  5. Wow! Crystal, I agree that is a lot of weight to lose in such a short time. Be careful and enjoy being 40 lbs. lighter. I can almost hear pitter patter of baby's feet.

  7. Tia-Now you've peaked my interest. I can't wait to see what you are building. That is fantastic that you are regularly exercising. Bad me just ate 3 oreos...I gave my kids some oreos and milk and figured I should give myself some, too!!!!! I have to stop eating crap. I'm going on the treadmill right now. It's raining pretty hard here.
  8. Hello, How are you doing with your weight loss? I'm still at 140-142 lbs. and I haven't worked on my afghan in ages. My goal was to be below 140 lbs. before going on vacation. I could possibly do it. I leave August 7. I hope you are having a nice and healthy summer.

  10. I had a nice weekend. We didn't go to any formal firework displays. We saw a few over the trees from the next city over. We went to a few picnics on Friday and Saturday and on Sunday went to Linesville, PA to see the carp at the spillway and then to Jamestown to the Deer Park. On Friday I did an exercise video and ran on the treadmill. The garden has been keeping me busy, too. That was my weekend in a nutshell.

I was hoping to eat healthy today:)...BUT, we had a cookout yesterday and we have a lot of burgers, hot dogs, BBQ ribs, potato salad, corn on the cob, watermelon,etc. left over and I CAN'T let it go to waste. Maybe by tomorrow there won't be so much left over and I can make healthier choices. I'm up 4 lbs.....I guess the plateau is over. I hope everyone has a good week.
  14. Hello Everyone, Things for me have been S...L...O...W... I haven't worked on my afghan, I haven't worked out, I haven't been drinking much water,lately... No wonder I'm can't get the scale numbers to go down. My goal for today is to drink 2 glasses of water before each meal....2 down and at least 4 more to go. Have a good, healthy day everyone.
  15. Hello Everyone. Has anyone been working on their squares/rows? I really haven't looked at mine lately. I've been working on some Comfort Shawls for a few moms at my son's school. How's the weight loss going? I'm maintaining...again. Not exercising...but, eating pretty healthy. I did just eat a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie... :blushYummy!!!! Not the healthiest choice....but, it could have been a worse choice. Have a great weekend.
