  1. The second kit of the series is going to be released soon. It's the shawl in the lower left corner of the crochet projects. It's easy and quick, and it only takes one skein of yarn. Interested? Let me know! ETA: Oops! I got ahead of myself. The July kit is the lacy cowl in the top left corner of the picture. Who's going to do this one with me?
  2. And here are the knit projects:
  3. Here are the crochet projects:
  4. Baah! Yarns and Needlecraft Cottage, a LYS in San Diego, are pairing up to offer a Yarn of the Month Club for crocheters and knitters. Every month from June through November, a new kit will be released with your choice of a knit or crochet pattern and one skein of Baah Yarns La Jolla yarn in the color of your choice. You can sign up for the entire series, or for individual months. You do not need to live in San Diego to participate - we will ship you your kits free of charge! Visit http://www.needlecraftcottage.com for more information. We will also be hosting a crochet-along for each crochet pattern here. Right now we have way more knitters than crocheters signed up. As the designer of the crochet patterns, I would love to see more crocheters take part! Anne
  5. What a great site! I am always looking for new Tunisian stitches.
  6. I would enjoy testing these. I'll pm you my email. Anne
  7. Thanks for your interest in testing my first pattern. I hope to be selling it on Ravelry soon, also under the name Mollyanna. Would you like me to send you a PM when it's ready?

  9. I like the colors, too. Not the usual baby blanket colors.
  10. Thanks so much for your suggestions. The mesh headband is close to what I am looking for. I think I will just try to wing it!
  11. A friend showed me a headband and asked me if I could make one like it. It is a trellis pattern, narrow at the ends and wide in the middle, with a shell border and a large shell flower in the middle. It closes with a button. I hope there is a pattern out there somewhere for it, either in a book or on-line, so I don't have to reinvent it. Thanks.
  12. Thanks so much! I'll post a picture of mine when it is done.
  13. Thanks for a great pattern, Rose Red. Quick question: Do you do the border with 2 strands of yarn also? I'm making my first one in red and white and want to be sure I do it right.
  14. I have been working on the Master's program for about 4 months - I am also thankful they removed the 3-month deadline. The first 15 swatches went pretty quickly, but now they are getting really complicated. I frogged #29 5 times before I was happy with it. I'm now on #31. I am also trying to do the CYC Instructor Certification program, but haven't gotten very far with it. How are you doing?
  15. I need two more skeins of Berroco Softwist yarn, color 9465 Twine (dye lot 91983) to finish a sweater I am making. I didn't realize it was discontinued when I bought it at my LYS. I thought I could just go to another shop to buy the additional two skeins. Can anyone help? Thanks!
