    "Rubber" duck

I am just about to start on one. Only, it will be a green duck as I have no yellow yarn handy. You duck is adorable! I can see how your nephew loves it. Sam

    My first ripple blanket

Thanks. I'm only a couple of rows it, so it won't be heartbreaking to start over. I thought that it would just get more noticeable the bigger it got but I thought that I would ask. Thanks again. Sam =]

    My first ripple blanket

I'm working on my first ripple baby blanket for a woman I work with. I followed the pattern wrong and one side is 12 stitches and the other is 6 (which is the correct number.) I'm not too bothered by this, but I wanted to know if I kept going is it going to continue to get worse, or will it just look a little bit longer than the other side? Sam

    Pom Pom question

I've never made a pom pom. I looked up several different instructions, and they all suggested using cardboard. The question I have is if I had to wash the hat (or anything with a pom pom on it) would be okay with the cardboard? It doesn't seem like it to me but I don't know for sure. I would really like to make some pom poms for some of my hats. Thank you! Sam

Thank you all so much. Nathan loves it very much. Its just a shame its been to warm for that blanket yet. But it will be cool enough soon. I'm excited! I can't wait to sit on our front porch or go to cook outs with it.

Okay, this blanket was made following a graph. It was suppose to be a present for my fiancee for his birthday. I missed the deadline, by a month. It was a lot harder than I thought. But I got through. And I am so excited to be done with it!!! I took several pictures, including one where you can see it's about 4 1/2 feet by 5 feet. But I could only find this one on the computer. Weird. This took a lot of time, frogging, and pain killer (for my head.) I am very proud of how it turned out. Sam

    Remember the movie Casper?

I haven't seen that movie in a very long time. But I can sort of picture the dress you are talking about. I should go rent it. Thanks! Sam
