  1. Thank you for sharing! I love your zodiac kittens and I've been soo waiting for the Virgo Kitten! I can't wait to get started.
  2. This sounds like it might be what you're looking for. It works up fast and fits like a skullcap. It is one of my favorite simple hat patterns. http://crochetme.com/the-professional
  3. I think Oren is adorable. I like how he matches the burp cloths! Very cute! I think the set would make a wonderful baby gift.
  4. Patiently waiting for the Virgo kitten!
  5. http://www.******/crochet/baspur.html Here's a link I marked to work up one day. No photos but it matches a description of a dish soap bottle doll bassinet purse my grandmother made for me when I was little (early 70's). Does anyone remember those? I'll bet you could use another kind of bottle but the dish soap bottle is oval so it looks a little more like a bassinet. If I finally get around to that part of my projects to do list, I'll post a photo.

  7. I am partial to the Long Open Shawl. I've been working on one in between other projects. Mine is with Simply Soft but that Lily Chin yarn is yummy. I'll bet it works up very nice! http://www.******/crochet/lonopesha.html
  8. Looks just like him! Very authentic, great job!
  9. I found this one on Crochet Pattern Central. http://*****************/web/20000510141442/http://www.cei.net/~vchisam/groovy/v-14.html It looks like it would work up pretty fast and doesn't look like a sack when you get all done. Definitely have to line it or wear a full slip under. check out more at http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com
  10. One year I made this apple with cutie worm finger puppet for my son's teacher. She thought it was adorable! http://crochetme.com/2005_Oct_Nov/pattern_apple.html
  11. How adorable! I like the pieces together as a set and the hole in the blanket idea. Car seats are a challenge for blanketed babies! Congratulations on your upcoming grandbabies!
  12. Wow! I love this. Too bad I can't pull off a top like that. Congratulations!
  13. While I've never done a ripple myself, I do think that I like the ones done with stripes. People have provided some good ideas with trying out stripe patterns. I thought that I would share a link I found along my web travels. It generates random stripe patterns based on colors you select and the stripe widths. Once you put those in and hit generate you get a display and a written list of colors and rows in order. Best part is, you can refresh your screen over and over until you get a pattern you like! I love it! http://www.kissyourshadow.com/stripe_maker.php Have fun!
  14. I've admired this pattern a few times during my web travels. Haven't tried it yet. It seems like this would fit your request. www.e-patternscentral.com Look for Tangerine and Kumquat Twins
  15. My Grandmothers taught me when I was about 9. My Mother's mother was crocheting baby layettes then and thirty years later she still makes the same layettes! My Father's mother made granny square blankets. I am lucky enough to have one of each and I can make my own.
