  1. I was hoping that some of the crocheter's on here are also knitter's and can help me find a pattern. I am looking for a nice knitted cable men's cardigan. I could only find one on the web and was hoping i could find a few more. It's for my father so more....grandpa-ish . Thanks in advance.
  2. Oh i wish i could have a room just for all my craft stuff. We do have a spare room at the moment but it is where my MIL stays when she visits (it's pretty often). Luckily my bedroom is fairly large so i'm able to cram in our queen size bed a large corner computer desk and a small desk for myself (sewing machine on top...craft stuff in the drawers). I also have some large Rubbermaid containers for my yarn. My large closet is currently housing all my WIP which are in spare laundry baskets. I'm trying to organize a bit better because the WIP are starting to take over the whole closet, LOL. I envy anyone who gets their own craft room!
  3. Haha that's awesome. Great job!
  4. I originally learned to make them by going around and around but i found they always went crooked...so now i turn after each round and they turn out a perfect square.
  5. Those are great. I have yet to make one but i'm always tempted when i see pretty ones...yours are tempting me once again

    Ruler of the Yarn!

Very cute indeed! I really love the colour yarn you used. I've been thinking about making a square-ish Amigurumi...maybe i'll try that one too
  9. I whipped up this pretty little thing last night. I am so happy with the way she turned out...still not sure if i'm going to embroider a mouth on her (i can never seem to get them quite right). Sorry i still can't figure out how to post the pic directly in the post

    My Amigurumi Butterfly

Oh i wish i had written a pattern for it as i went...I will try to go back and figure out what i did...it was a pretty basic design. Might take me awhile but i will type one up for you all. Thanks so much for your compliments everyone. My DD was very excited to play with it this morning...it made me very happy
  14. I definitely need patterns to have pictures. I won't even attempt one without a pic. I like to see what it looks like first. I find them helpful if i can't figure out something in the pattern.
  15. (Sorry i couldn't figure out how to post the pic directly on here) It's my second attempt at making an amigurumi without following a pattern. I think it turned out pretty nicely. I put a small rattle in it's body because it's for my DD (she's 9 months old ).
