  3. I scored huge at Hobby Lobby today.. I was able to actually get several colors of ILTY & ILTC while they're still in the process of switching distributors... Let the drooling begin! LOL And, there are 40 more skeins being shipped to me.. I am seriously drowning in yarn and am on Anyone wanna volunteer to help me organize it? My poor craft room doesn't know what to do with it all.
  4. FINALLY mailed out that puffy today!! Yep, yep! My pledged 2 squares are on their way Carol.. should be there no later than Monday.
  5. I swear, every time I say I'll do something on a certain day, the universe works completely against me and I don't get done in time. So, sadly, Carol your squares didn't go out today.... But come fire or high water they will be in the mail tomorrow!

  7. Got one of Carol's squares finished up... will work on the other pledged square this week. Tomorrow I am taking a crochet "break" to catch up on homework and perhaps get a little bit of WoW time in.. I haven't played in ages!

  9. More than likely there will be an updated version released soon. I don't use it much, but I did like using it before when I was out & about and couldn't get on from my pc. If I had to guess, I would say that within the next 4-6 weeks someone will update the app or create an entirely new one. You might be able to ask Amy in the board questions thread however. Absolutely fabulous! What a total doll and a beautiful blanket for her to snuggle!

  12. I need to get some photos taken so I can participate in this. I have a great soup/comfort food recipe that has been a family favorite for ages. Plus I just designed a very super simple dishcloth and posted it here in the CAL thread... This sounds like fun!

  14. I want to say Thank You Thank You to cshort for the pretty pink square you sent me! I received it yesterday. Your square should go out tomorrow if everything goes as planned. I just love the square and can't wait to see where it will live happily forever in my 'ghan!

Here's a pattern if you wanna make one I hook Sugar n' Cream yarn ch 28 Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (27 sc) turn Row 2: ch 1, sc in first st, *ch 1, skip next st, sc in next st ~ repeat from * across ending with sc in last st, turn Row 3: ch 1, sc in first st, sc in ch 1 sp, *ch 1, skip next st, sc in next ch 1 sp ~ repeat from * to last 2 sts, sc in ch 1 sp, sc in last st, turn Repeat rows 2 & 3 alternatively until desired length Last row: ch 1, sc in each st and ch 1 sp across ~ Turn 90 degrees to work in the end of the rows for border Border round: ch 2, dc 3x in end st of last row, *dc in each row end until reaching the corner, 3 dc in corner, turn 90 degrees, ~ repeat from * around, join with slip stitch into first dc of the 3 dc in first corner. Fasten off & weave in ends.
  19. I do! It is the Dainty Textured Blanket on Ravelry. Although, I did have to place 3 sc in the corners for the border not to curl. Here's a pic of what it looked like all done:
