  1. awww so cute, will have to make daylee one for kindergarten too.
  2. her name is Daylee and we call her day or dayday. She is named after her great granddad as we promised him we would name our first son after him but seeing we got all girls and she was our last we decided to give her his name. He was named Daily but I wanted to be more girly, hehe
  3. cute top, better not let my girls see this or they will want em too. lol my list for them is everlasting
  4. here are the cami's i made for my 13yr and 5yr. I got the pattern here I just made the 2 pentagons/triangles to fit their fronts, then made the chain around their back and used hdc to the bottom of the triangles. This all started when I made myself one here, then they all wanted one, I have one more left to make and thats my 14yr's. (All pictures are click able) Day sporting her new top, I don't think she will be taking it off anytime soon, lol Tiffy in her shirt.
  5. here are the milkcap cuties I have made lately. My girls have been keeping me busy with wanting more and more of them in different colors. http://www.flickr.com/photos/7766458@N02/sets/72157604090259110/ I expanded on the monkey head as my 12yr said she really wanted a body for it, lol so I used the pug legs and the bunny's belly to make it. The hedgehog was a monkey head to start out with but hubby said it didn't look like a monkey with light yellow yarn so it morphed into a hedgehog. for the eyes I use either colored (mostly black) dots that were in Joann's scrap booking section or brads (circles and hearts) that are also found in that section. Peggytoes I just love your milkcap patterns and so do my kids. The are always asking if you have new ones yet, they have no patience (like any kids do, lol)

    My Little Piggie Pirate

thanks everyone I know my mind is full of ideas, already have been writing em downI am hoping the one i am working on now will turn out and gonna get the pattern typed soon as i make sense of my writing, lol writing a pattern at 3am isn't such a good idea lots of chicken scratch to figure out.
  8. When I asked my 4yr little girl what she wanted to be for Halloween she replied "a piggie pirate" (it was something she saw on Dora the Explorer show) after telling me for a hour what she wanted, I set to work and this is what i came up with. Here is just the hat, the eye patch can be lifted up so she can see out of both eyes. The skull is from here Here she is wearing her Piggie Pirate Hat, her piggie nose is a little crooked in this picture for some reason She even has a little piggie tail. (all pictures are click able)

    Cat Costume

Thanks everyone Right now I just have the hair pins stuck threw the yarn but i am planning to hot glue the ears to hair clips so they will stay in one place and not flop over.
  10. my oldest wants to be a cat for halloween but like most teens she is very picky when it comes to stuff. She didn't like any of the cat stuff she saw at the stores. So I ended up making her cat ears, tail and so far one cat paw. I used white and black fun fur with white and black yarn for them with a p hook. I ran out of white fun fur after the first paw so she will have to wait a bit for the second paw. I attached the ears to hair clips. I like the way they turned out and they feel just like cats fur too. here are some pictures with her sister modeling em (she didn't want to take pictures as she is having a bad hair day she says, ) the pictures are clickable the last pic (side view) is fuzzy some as my camera was acting up

  15. Thanks Everyone :manyheart It took me longer to make her then I thought it would have, but that could have been cause my 11yr dd couldn't make up her mind on what color hair to have, what decorations to have on her, so after she drove me I :kickher out of the living room and just finished it the way i wanted to,
