  1. I know exactly what you mean! I never in a million years thought I would ever work with thread, but once my eyes got use to the fine thread, I loved it. I don't think that I will ever make a bedspread though, but I never thought I would work with thread either, so who knows. Linda

  5. I am working on learning some new stitches that I should have learned years ago. Also making some dishcloths, otholders, and hot pads for my kitchen. So glad to see others from Ohio here. Linda

  16. Hello everyone, I stumbled across this list yesterday, and joined right away:)) I have spent most of the morning reading your posts. I have crocheted off and on for years, but have never learned more than the simple single crochet, double crochet, and half double. Now that I am on disability due to COPD, I have all this time on my hands. I have tried many crafts, but this is the one that I still find most calming. So I have decided to learn some of the other stitches that I have always admired. I hope to make lots of new friends here, and perhaps learn something about creating blogs, websites and more here too. Linda
