  6. Hi guys, It's been a stupidly long time since I last posted here. I'm really sorry, I rarely use forums anymore Anyway, just thought I'd check in and link you to my brand spanking new blog; Crochet Shaz Used to be on LJ, but I've moved now. Will be regularly updating and really need some friends and support on there while I get it going! Thank you
  7. I found this pattern shortly after I posted this thread and decided it's the one I want to use He'll love it. Thanks guys x
  8. Hi all, I'm being very non specific here, so I apologise in advance. My boyfriend is celebrating his 20th birthday in just under a month and I want to crochet him something as part of his present. I really want to make something large enough for him to cuddle (he's a soppy old thing), so the regular sized amigurumi pieces aren't big enough. Ideally I would like to make a giraffe, as they are his favourite animals, but I'm open to all ideas. Doesn't need to be enormous; just big enough for cuddles. All ideas welcome!
  9. Thanks guys! Glad you like him
  10. Hey everyone, I've just published a new pattern for you all, on my blog. He's called a Fuzztail, and you can download the free pattern here! Enjoy! You can also find him on Ravelry.
  11. Those are cute. I like the colours you used! Hearts are always useful to have patterns for
  12. Hey guys, Looking for 3 testers to work on my latest design for me. I unfortunately can't disclose too much information on here, as it's a swap item and I don't want to recipient to see the item before I send it. I'll send you pictures if you apply to test it though What I can tell you, is that it's a very quick and easy pattern to follow. Those experienced with amigurumi can have this done in a night, and I do need this finished asap. There is some Fun Fur used in one section of this item, so be aware of that when applying to test. As always, anyone that tests my patterns for me gets a mention and feature in my blog. I look forward to hearing from you!!!!
  13. Hi everyone, I work for Oxfam, and my branch is currently selling a designer tunic on eBay. We've just set up shop really, and I thought I'd give you all a heads up on the item. I've posted a couple of times in Ravelry, in local groups, but this is more natured to the whole of the UK (sorry, we can't post anywhere else). http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Quinton-Chadwick-Designer-Tunic_W0QQitemZ170324478359QQcmdZViewItemQQptZWomen_s_Clothing?hash=item170324478359&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 Quinton & Chadwick are knitwear designers. The item is handknitted and would cost in the region of £250-£300 new. We're starting at £9.99 100% of the final price goes to Oxfam. Please give something to a good cause! Happy bidding.
  14. Thanks guys!! Enjoy it
