  2. I made this one too...I really like it. What I am wanting to do is frame them in a shadow box so that ami one wont work although it is adorable. And as far crochetpattercental...I did look there. That is where I got some of them.
  3. I am looking for as many different butterfly patterns as I can. Am mainly looking for things like smaller doilies, fridgies, pins, motifs, and other things like this. Things that are or can be made in thread!!! I have a project I am working on for my sister in law and brother in law in memory of their daughter!! Anyone know of any? I've done a few and would just like some more!!!
  4. I kno this is an older post but just wanted to say how beautiful ur baby is!! I recently was blessed with a little one here too. A little 6 week old chihuahua/pekingese joined our family last week. She is so wonderful!! Now her old owners are trying to get rid of her sister and is having a hard time finding a home for her so my heart strings are being pulled...so who knows we may be getting another...Anyhowm where did u find that pattern for that dress and hat? Ihave been having a hard time finding any patterns for her...and am not smart enough to come up with my own...at least thus far!!
  5. My mom and dad need new ornaments for their tree this year and I said I would try and crochet something. What I am wanting is like a glass ball jacket or cover. But something simple and fairly quick. I had done one but they take forever and I just don't have that much time to do them. Does anyone have an easy but pretty pattern?
  6. nevermind i figured it out all on my own:D
  7. I am trying to do this pattern: http://www.bernat.com/data/pattern/pdf/instruction_2613.en_US.pdf And am stuck on the sleeves I am confused by what it is trying to say, either I am totally dumb or something, does any one know of a way to explain it to me in more simple terms or maybe can do a crochet along type thing so I know what I need to actually do....
  8. Does any one have any tips? I got some for free and would love to make something with is, but I am having a horrible time using it. Does it just take practice or is there a trick to doing it?
  9. TY so much. It was late last night and I was tired thanks for seeing that. I swore I read all that up there but I guess I must have been really tired!
  10. OK I am making a doll dress of a classic doll. When I got to this part and am confused...: RND 18: Working in back lp of sts only, js in first sc, *sc in next 5 sc, js in next sc, sc in next js, js in next sc; rep from * around to last 7 sts, sc in next 5 sc, js in next sc, sc in last js, join to first js (80 sts). Ch 1, do not turn. What is js?? I've never seen this in a pattern before. Anyone have any idea. If it will help that pattern is this one: http://www.fibrecraft.com/dofun/dollsbears/crochet/gala_dress.asp
  11. I am in search of a doll pattern. Preferably something that would work up kinda quick and would be easy for a beginner. Another plus would definately be cheap or maybe even free. If you know of one please let me know! It would be GREATLY appreciated! TIA

    need help ASAP

I am doing this pattern: http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/60216.html I thought I had it done and am just sewing everything together but now I am wondering if I did the shoulder part correctly. This is the part I don't know if I did correctly: Work next row of Arch st over 2 (2, 2, 5 3/4, 5 3/4, 5 3/4) in. [5 (5, 5, 14.5, 14.5, 14.5) cm] of sts. So is it 2 inches across (which is what I did) and only one row, or is it two inches tall...and then if so all the way over? I need to get this finished so if someone could help me out I would really appreciate it!
  13. Well ya'll got me thinking I need to be doing this....but that is ok. Can I ask why one much use a certain type of yarn? I would love to do this and maybe even start an organization or something locally, but don't have the money to be spending so much on the baby yarn...that stuff gets expensive after a while!
  14. I am needing a gift for my SIL. She will be back on Monday and I need to have it finished by then. I am hoping for something that could be dressy if need be but also could be casual. Maybe something lacy that a tank top could be worn underneath or something. I really like this one but I don't know if I am quite there yet! http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/60216.html
  15. There is this frog hat that I really want to make for a baby gift. Problem is that it is supposed to fit a toddler from 18 month-36 month. So I am wondering is there any way to "shrink" it down to be a better size for a baby gift? So here is the link for it: http://www.modadea.com/patterns/CTFEB07froghat.htm TIA!
