  1. Thanks, Katie, for the instructions. I looked through the posts and didn't find this one. I have a few more rows (including the border), and I'll be finished with my first RR! You've helped me a bunch! I'll try to post a picture when I finish. I think this will be a favorite to make from now on. I love this blanket! And the blending just makes it extra special.
  2. Has anyone seen a post with anything about how the shell border is done on this? I'm just about to finish one of these beautiful blended ripples, and I'm not real sure how to do the shell border.
  3. There is a pattern book at Annie's Attic for this. http://www.anniesattic.com/crochet/detail.html?prod_id=20210 I'm not sure if that is what you're looking for. Pam
  4. Quite a while back I found a pattern for a dishcloth with a plastic scrubbie in one corner. It was a square dishcloth. My big mistake was not keeping the link or printing the pattern. Has anyone seen anything like that?
  5. I have a step-daughter and her family in Singapore with Exxon. From what they have shown us on their blog, it looks beautiful. How did the recent earthquake affect you?
  6. Welcome! Where in Alabama? I'm near Birmingham. Are we neighbors?
  7. Hello from another Birmingham crocheter! I work in Irondale.
  8. I follow the pattern the first time because I can't see in my head what the item will actually look like until I try it myself. But when it comes to yarn, I usually only go by the size then choose my own colors.
  9. What a wonderful way to spend your time. What pattern did you use for the white one? It's my favorite!
  10. angelfire, if you are still looking, I would love to participate! I have sent you a PM.
  11. I have always made things for gifts. But recently I decided I wanted to make some things for me! I will still be making gifts too, tho.
  12. Very pretty! I really like that stitch!
  13. I ordered a package of these from Annie's Attic.
  14. Totally awesome and amazing !!! :dreaming
