  1. Hello, I use this yarn quite a bit. I also like Red Heart.
  2. Hello from Connecticut. I love to crochet. It helps calm my nerves!! Good luck with your business. MJ
  3. Hello Britany and to all. I haven't been on in awhile and I would like to introduce myself again. My name is MaryJane, I am 47, and I have been crocheting on and off since I was a teen. I have been making afghans, prayer shawls, and Christmas stockings lately. I also made a couple of Christmas tree skirts and baby blankets along the way as well. Hope you all have a great day.
  4. Hi Donna, I just sent off 21 rectangles via Priority Mail to you. Please let me know when you receive them. Glad I was able to offer my time for such a great cause! Mary Jane
  5. Ive had it in my right wrist due to years of working on a computer without proper support and had to have surgery. I was out of work for about a month but thankfully I recouperated fairly quickly. I am happy to report that I have no more pain. Im just glad I am able to crochet again!!! MJ :-)
  6. Those are really neat!! I have tons of plastic bags that are just "there" taking up space. Thanks for the ideas!! MJ :-)
  7. Has anyone here ever usedTunisian stitches when making an item?? I tried doing a couple of practice stitches on a regular hook using yarn and it seemed pretty easy to pick up. I now need to go get a tricot needle. Would they sell something like that at WalMart?? I would like to make an afghan using Tunisian stitches. Thanks. MJ
  8. Welcome Cay!! I am from CT also. (NewHaven area) MJ :-)
  9. Welcome. I am from the NewHaven area also!! MJ :-)
  10. Hi All, I am thinking about maybe trying to sell afghans. I have a book at home that lists a variety of stitches. If I take one of those stitches and make an entire afghan from that one stitch, is that copywrite infringement because I am using a stitch from their book?? Or if I use a type of granny square mentioned in a book. It is not from a pattern, it is just one of the stitches or granny squares mentioned in a book. I would like to try designing my own patterns someday. MJ :-)
  11. Thank you all for the warm welcome!!! MJ :-)
  12. Just wanted to say hi and thanks for letting me join. I am finally glad to have found a place where my interest in crochet is in common with others!!! MJ
