  1. Thank you everyone. You make me feel very welcome!!
  2. Hi there! I used to be a crochetville member several years ago, but life got busy and I let my membership lapse. So it is good to be back!! I probably will not be a daily or even super regular poster, but will check in once in awhile and see what is going on in the community. I love to crochet, but don't get to do it as much as I would like. I also love to cook. I love trying new things and playing around with ethnic foods. And, to round it all out, I love to bellydance. Nothing like some shimmying and undulations to make you feel feminine and connected to your body! I am on Ravelry as Fruitloopgirl. Please feel free to add me. Always love more crochet friends!! And if you like to play on Pinterest, please follow any or all of my boards! Fruitloopgirl on Pinterest
  3. Yes, I agree. I made one for each of my girls thinking that I would fill them with goodies for their easter baskets and then they can use them as they chose afterwards. I thought it would be a great little bag for discreetly carrying feminine supplies.
  4. I may have to make one of those for my daughter now. She is 15 and loves the TMNT's. she claims that one day she will marry one. lol.
  5. What a beautiful and creative way to use the shells. Nice color choice for it as well. So feminine!
  6. Beautiful!! I love those colors.
  7. very pretty. I would love to get my hands on that pattern, as I have a daughter named Lexi.
  8. thanks everyone. the crochet up nice and quick, too!
  9. I made these from Naida's pattern here.
  10. I have a few blogs... my crafting blog is Brain Noodles. It's a wordpress blog, but I haven't decided if I really like wordpress yet. It has some good features, but I find blogger to be easier for someone like me who just wants to post and go. my personal blogs are Legacy and Cheese (my photoblog). I do hope some of you will pop on by one or all and say hi!!!
  11. I'm up here in Lynden, WA... waaaayyyyy up by the Canadian border.
  12. Howdy all!!! Thank you for the warm welcome!
  13. Hi there. I am still a novice crocheter, but I love it just the same. I am a happily married mom of 4. I have been crocheting about a year. I started with knitting, but when I joined the crocheting and knitting group at my church, I was fascinated with how quickly the other ladies' crocheted projects came together. So I went home and looked at my "Crocheting for Dummies" book and taught myself to crochet. I have hardly touched my knitting needles since. LOL. Our groupd uses donated yarn to make blankets, hats and baby supplies for local charities. It is very fulfilling and fun. I don't get a lot of time to devote to crocheting, or any of my other crafting interests, co my projects always take longer than what the patterns say they will. I look forward to reading about other's projects and experiences and sharing my own. Thanks. Stop by my blog and say hi. Brain Noodles
